Showmen's Rest: Chicago's Circus Graveyard

Showmen’s Rest is the site of a mass burial of clown’ and other circus performers in Chicago after a train wreck killed 86 also injuring 127 members of the Hagenbeck-Wallace circus in 1918. It is said that the spirits of the performers never stopped performing. Reinforcing the saying ” The Show Must Go On”
