How Long Does It Take to Get 10,000 YouTube Subscribers? Many Small YouTubers want to know how to grow a YouTube Channel Fast or Why they are not getting subscribers on YouTube. Today we answer how long it takes to get 10,000 Subscribers, and how many uploads it takes to grow a YouTube Channel.

Growing a YouTube Channel Fast in 2020 is not something just anyone can do, and even knowing a few tactics won’t get you more YouTube subscribers if people don’t like your personality and if you can’t be consistent in making content.

If you want to know how long it takes to get 10K Subscribers on YouTube it will largely come down to how much content you can upload, how consistent the content is, and also how your viewers perceive value and quality in your niche on YouTube.

The lower your barrier to entry in terms of your niche and content (gaming is a good example) the higher your quality will have to be to stand out and the more you will need a strong and unique personality, and to bring something new to the table to get subscribers on YouTube. Otherwise your channel will not grow and you will be frustrated as a Small YouTuber, not getting views and not getting subscribers.

Spectacular vid Roberto! Seeing Jimmy's stats is beyond inspiring when you look at the early part of his career. I love when you mentioned where you begin is not where you can end up. So many people give up thinking it'll never amount to anything. They've spent a few years or maybe only a few months and then give up. But I truly have come to believe that everyone who sticks it out will eventually be rewarded if they are providing valuable content. Look at Paul Peck too, it took him like 10 years to get to 100K. Imagine if he gave up a couple years ago?? Can't wait to see you hit 500K too my friend!

Being retired (and living in Paradise), my channel's growth progress is directly related to my daily ambitions. I'm not in this for the money (too much like work), but rather I enjoy the creative outlet that making videos provides me with. I'm going on 5 years with this channel (re-branded after 3 years) and my growth has been slow, but steady, like a sea turtle… which reminds me I need to do another diving vid. Love your channel!

I’m learning so much from you! I’ve used YouTube as my creative outlet for a couple years now, but I’d like to start to get more growth and be more strategic. I love how your channel focuses on growth AND creativity! Thank you!!

Good advice as always, and you’re right it seems like such a long term goal.
Yes on Yu-Gi-Oh, but only if you film and post it😂

took me 4 years, and 900 videos to get to 100k subscribers, there was even a time i uploaded 7 days a week, for 3 months straight to experiment to find out what worked, then all i did was whatever worked, just repeat it. i thought it was impossible too or that the only way was to get a shoutout or a collab. i never done any collabs or shoutouts so i only pat myself on the back for going as long as i did. now im currently trying to become my own label and hopefully the next few years and go all in and make a creative career.

In my 3rd year, past the 1K mark, climbing slowly but steadily towards 2K. It's tough sometimes but appreciating every morsel of growth I get and trying to glean as many learning opportunities as possible along the way.

To touch on some of the points here, I did 450+ videos to hit 10k and it took me 3.5 years to hit it. Now month over month I'm doubling views, I'm launching my business and more. Relentless quality and consistent improvement WILL yield progress.

I started my channel earlier this year it’s been a grind but I have a lot of fun putting out one video a week consistently and I’m just super grateful for everyone who subscribes. If your growing your channel I’m wishing you the best and praying you stick it through!

While hitting numerical milestones on YT are great and important I think people get hung up on them early on. It’s more about being, as you said, consistent and honing ur skills as a content creator. I keep going and watching ur videos always teaches me something new. Also, definitely challenge Mr Buddy to a duel. I’d watch that!

Youtube analyzes videos and recognizes words – and based on these words Youtube also recognizes what a video is really about (besides the text description etc.). In this video here you can at least see that value was put on it: In the first minute of the video the phrase "How to get 10.000 subscribers on Youtube" was used 6 times (!!!) in different variations and very clear and slow pronunciation, so that Youtube recognizes the words 100% correct – within just 54 seconds. To me personally this is too much and too obvious, but apparently this is how video SEO works. Nevertheless: Nice content, keep it up!

It took me just over 3 Years to hit 10,000 Subscribers…and 175 videos. It's very easy to quit early on — I can think of a dozen times I've nearly given up. My Photography niche is also oversaturated and full of gate-keepers. The key, like you said, is perseverance!

8 months year old YouTuber here. Uploading 1 video every single Sunday since the beginning (relaxing original music), invested money on stuff, but I have not seen a penny in return yet 🙁 I am just trusting the process and hoping that one day it will come. I put around 15hs of time a week to my YouTube creation videos. Creating a new song every week is not easy. I just hope I dont have to upload 400 videos (i.e. 400 original songs) to get to 10k xD. Anyway, as I said still trusting the process.
Thank you for all this valuable information!! Stay Safe

I started posting on YouTube nine years ago when we rented a convertible in Hawaii and we continued doing that every time we travelled. That led to travel vlog type videos then hobby stuff etc etc. I recently reached 500 subscribers which I think is awesome and I know achieving 10k is unrealistic. My daughter and her boyfriend have hundreds of thousands if not millions of followers but they do totally different stuff from me.
I have never given in and I have no intention of doing so.As long as I can do them I will even though my wife continues to ask me why Zi post? My children and hopefully theirs will have a permanent record if who I am

Man I'm in 200 + videos in just about 6 months. I do reactions, I'm up to 742 subs, and growing. I chose reaction videos because I enjoy it. I did other things during my 4 year journey of quitting and starting and quitting again. This channel here is actually my oldest channel I brought back for this niche to start fresh you know. Yes challenge mr beast for sure.
