I still not sure I get it correctly.
So the whole demand supply is inscribed to the Blockchain but how is this different from supply chain management systems. Also, if all the parties have the ledger won't this overwhelm the network and cause delay in saving and retrieving the data and cause duplication

Hash encryption, yet I would have to disagree that SHA-256 is strong or the Ethereum version is any better. These algorithms go out the door with Quantum. Not only the way blocks are containerized cause significant MitM Vulnerability as well.
