I literally got an ad from a dude saying that Dropshipping is dead before this video. Not in my experience.. Dropshipad.com certainly help my business stay fresh.

I tried dropshipping and affiliate marketing. I got sales faster with dropshipping but make more with affiliate marketing. I depend on the product to sell itself I don't have a list or advertise or have a large following. I just hope that the product will get you over to Amazon. I think I could make good money if I would put some effort into it.

And I agree the technical definition of a "home appliance" is confusing (which makes the quiz kind of unfair in retrospect, haha) because colloquially it's often used differently. Jessica & I actually chatted about it in a section that got cut, because she found the way Aliexpress categories appliances to be confusing too. A home appliance is simply a device that assists with something you do in a house, and it doesn't need to be an electronic device either (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_appliance). So the toothpaste dispenser helps dispense toothpaste when brushing your teeth – so it's a home appliance. But the pot plants, while they improve your home (and I agree, Instagram really was what made them truly popular) don't actually serve a functional purpose, so it gets categorized by Aliexpress as "home improvement." 🏠
I am curious to hear from actual Oberlo users and find out if they are experiencing shipment delays because of COVID and how they are closing the gap.

So I also guessed that home improvement was at the top! I think there is a disconnect between what I thought they meant by appliances and home improvement, though. As a homeowner of 3 homes over the years I would still put most of the stuff they showed for those categories under home decor and organization. Home improvement is more like replacing broken windows, leaking sinks, and outdated drawer pulls, tiling a backsplash, installing new floors, painting rooms or building a storage shed. As for appliances: I was with you on the fridge idea! Maybe also Instapots or Keurigs would qualify.
101 most come with baggage in your mind. Lose the baggage. You will move faster. Validate idea is what your doing first.
I personally love oberlo and have had not too many complaints. My transparency on shipping times is plastered all over my site, and I have emails with little nuggets going out weekly to customers waiting on deliveries. That really works. I love drop shipping and FBA, too 😊
i pronounce it neesh, but their are alot of people in the industry that say nitch…do u follow paul lipsky he dropships from ali express to ebay and seems to do well, he travels the country in his R.V and all u need is that handy laptop

I used to watch Sarah Crispy but not really that keen on dropshipping models. You mentioned etsy sellers as a source and there is supposed to be a wholesaler etsy program. I, myself, have not looked into it. Maybe you can cover that another time.

I love your videos and everything you do to help people like me who wants to start a business. BUT I just have to say that recently when going to your channel, I just leave again… It's like a wall of anxious/worried faces and negative words. This makes me kinda depressed and not really wanting to click a video in case it will make me feel anxious about starting a business instead of feeling positive about it… Not saying you shouldn't tell all the negatives as well, but to be met with that much negativity at the first glance is just overwhelming for a newbie. Love x
