Hey man! Got a FAQ for ya – how do you approach solo boosts with a band, i find in studio even if they are TOO LOUD they don't cut with a band. I never wanna be obnoxiously loud and prefer a engineer to turn me up, but i think i gotta find a solid middle ground. Keen on your opinion?

Ola! FAQ question for my study at the conservatory!
At the moment I'm going to graduate at the musicacademy here in Holland and my research is about the elimination of noise during metal playing on guitar. And I'm not talking about noisegates and stuff, but about noise like strings ringing and other noises that come from moving hands, letting go of strings, etc etc. Especially with distortion.
What are your insights about this? How do you keep your playing 'clean' even with a lot of gain, and how do you make sure you only hear the note/string/sound that you want to hear?

Hey Ola, I've watched many of your videos and I needed to ask a question. Im sure you do but when you have days where the riffs just aren't coming, aside from putting down the guitar what music related things do you do to to get back on the road to creating? On a serious note. I suffer from a variety of mental illnesses and I must say seeing yer mug each week makes things so much more tolerable. Oh btw, id love to send you some snacks to try… how would I do that? Sorry to take up your time. All the best to you and yours.
UAD have small UI's that you can connect with usb3/thunderbolt, you can connect you're instrument to your phone and get good quality audio which I guess you could sinc with an app – so technically you only need a phone to start a YouTube Channel and have good quality sound.💲👍
I plan on getting myself one soon seeing as I don't want to fully upgrade to a decent DI setup – just yet. 👌

Hey Ola ! Question for next FAQ:
I'm in a Solar Guitars user forum and unfortunately the post of Solar guitars with cracked fretboards, logos that peel of from the headstock and neckjoint issues (cracks, warps etc.) increased over the last few months. So my Question is, what's up with the QC ? I remember the runs before 2020 where nearly flawless.
I myself own an E1.6C (bought in august 2020) and i LOVE IT TO DEATH. But, it too has a crack at the neckjoint (paint crack so i won't bother returning etc. because playability is flawless). I will for sure buy many more solars in the future. But i'm honestly pretty worried.

Hi OLA FAQ – how do you deal with making mistakes playing Live or Recording? I try to record my compositions over and over multiples of times to the point of being ridiculous. It takes all the fun out of playing when you reach high multiple takes. Thanks OLA….great channel m/
