• Do you have any advice for growing a kid friendly channel after Coppa. My son and I started a Pokémon channel where we open Pokémon cards. Every video we were gaining a couple subscribers but then Coppa went into effect and we haven’t gained 1 since. I really want my son in the videos, it’s our bonding time. After loosing my dad in April to a heart attack I wished I had spent more time with him so I’m trying to do more things with my son that he will remember forever

  I removed copyright claim video, not sure if gameplays without commentary could be called 'Reused Content'.
  Of course, YT didn't tell me what was found as 'Reused content' and hence my channel monetization denied.

• Hi Rob. Thanks for your review. I think you mentioned my thumb nails as experimental.. correct! I’ve been doing your courses and took advice on creating a value proposition ( I now mention it at the start of my videos) I’m half way thru the thumbnail course and just experimenting with them but take fully on board. The bike video did go viral but I think what happened that is got shared on bike forums and Facebook groups.. which then blew the video up!! My passion is scale model kits and history of the models..I did that bike video as a way of expressing my love of research and I had all these notes I gathered and made a video of it.. if you watch my unboxing videos I always talk about the history of the craft I’m reviewing as another angle. No point building the kit if you don’t appreciate the history behind it!! Thanks for the review.. I’m deffo putting into practice the knowledge you’ve shared.. I see you’ve been using my review of your courses in your emails.. Mos Productions lol.. one side note.. MOS6510 is a 8 bit micro processor that was in my first computer, a Commodore 64.. I’ve used that username for years so hence my channel name..

• Appreciate again all of the advice! Adding some text to the banner to clarify the channel's purpose, and altered the video titles. You were spot on when you mentioned the bison videos… I put together a bison documentary series, and most of those videos with lots of views came out of that work (which would require me to be places fairly far from where I'll be over the next half year). I feel like my channel does have a little bit of a split identity, with part of it being catered to biologists and the other more general lovers of nature, but on feedback, the content that comes up most often is the nature vlogs. And, if I'm honest, they're by far the thing I have the most fun with, so will keep doing both a while. 🙂
