I’ve been to a Chinese Japanese buffet but the difference was you order like in a restaurant and the servers bring you the food to the table
People just can't cook or are way to lazy to. WHY DO YOU THINK AMERICA IS SO FAT>

If they have kids tables with Removable plastic mats that they can play on and crayons and modern paper place mats to draw on and at their table finger foods they can choose and host watching and assisting them and parents can view their tabke manners and they can meet kids their age teen scene included. And sliding doors easy access from entrance & exit but still in restaurant. TV monitors and a restaurant take out birthday dessert for children only.. makes No cooking nights easier.

Buffets can't earn from me, I eat everything I can until I feel like I'm vomiting
The majority of restaurants make very little money on food. I have worked in kitchens, hotels, kebab shops, Indian restaurants, Chinese takeaways. One hotel that I worked at, I was scrapping the plate into the bin so I could clear the left overs and wash the plate up. The female owner came in and screamed at me, what are you doing? I said scraping the left overs so I can wash the plate. She complained that was money down the drain, the food should be scrapped off into containers which was then put in the fridge or freezer and used the next dinner service. I did not last there very long, the thought of scraping other people's left overs and serving it to other people is disgusting. Indian and Chinese make very little money, especially Indian as the majority of the food is based on spices, which cost a lot of money, so the extras such as drinks are high. The only profitable takeaways are kebab shops, the owners and majority of staff have hundreds of pounds in their pockets. A lot more than I was getting a night delivering. I am UK, and that is what it is like in UK food industry.

I was in this all you can eat buffet and back then I was very dumb I got all the fatty and the food with carbs so I got full very quickly. I got like pasta and rice and pizza and nothing expensive at all AND for dessert two ice creams and cookies and chocolate cake. I was very full
My uncle is one of those people who gets sent away from all you can eat buffets because he eats all the food with no hesitation and I’m just really pleased to be related to someone like that. He also got thrown out a pub for drinking all the beer.

i was told by someone that buffets also tend to make their food more salty so people drink more water and fill up. talk about sneaky
Truthfully speaking, I prefer to eat a meal until 70% full, not stuff my stomach until I get my money worth. hence, I never go to buffets,
You also just have to set the price standard high enough so the average consumer doesn't go above it. That way, abnormal people, just never cut deep enough. This is a monetary 'safeguard'.
