How To Get More YouTube Subscribers with Channel Branding
According to YouTube Analytics, most people subscribe to a YouTube channel on the home page of the channel itself, so it’s important that we optimize that page to convert new viewers into subscribers. There’s several things on that page we can design in a way to answer the questions a potential subscriber is considering before they click that subscriber and make them more likely to click it.
If you want to get more subscribers, it’s important to setup your channel in a way that does that so your bounce rate is low. My channel is multifaceted of my life & adventures so I'm having a hard time deciding on how to brand myself
Great channel info, as usual Video Creators. Hey, Youtubers, if you have a couple minutes, can you drop by my channel, Rat and Cat, and let me know one thing you like about my channel branding and one thing I could improve. Rat and Cat is about looking for missing people so we can learn how to survive in the outdoors. I think one think i struggle with is, in my searching, I've come across some Sasquatch stories, which haven't really believed in the past. That and the nature of searching the forest for people has taken on more of dark tone than maybe I would like, but maybe that's a good thing? I'm concerned it's too niche.

What I'm looking for is a discussion of changing the target audience of a channel. For example … I'm about to rebrand. My target audience is currently nursing students. Lately a lot of my subscribers are not nursing students because I've been teaching a lot about research. I'm considering making the target audience broader fit who my subscribers are … students in a research course but I still want to be able to post nursing videos. Most of my views and watch time are from my research videos.
P.S. Like you said when I was in one of your groups my tagline needs to be redone … "where complexity meets clarity" needs to be simplified.
