I tried using DaVinci Resolve to make a YouTube thumbnail, but find that using the program is confusing. I can't find video tutorials walking through every step of how make one using DaVinci. Any suggestions?

There is no template assistance on YouTube. It sends you to Customization, then Branding, and from there you get the same frustrating screen that does not allow you to resize or reposition your artwork at all. The specs are 2560 x 1440 pixels but that is not what you actually see on a YouTube channel banner — the top to bottom dimension is less, it is more like a square format. I have been working on this for hours and am totally frustrated. Snapa was not helpful.
