HOW TO START ON YOUTUBE (ADVICE FROM A 5M SUBSCRIBER CHANNEL) | #ASKGARYVEE WITH WHAT'S INSIDE

Growing your YouTube channel as a small YouTuber is difficult, time consuming, and requires a lot of patience… If your goal is getting subscribers on YouTube or getting more views on YouTube, you’re going to have to test a bunch of different styles of content and then find what niche works best for you and grind it out.

It was awesome to have Dan and Lincoln from What’s Inside stop by my office for the #AskGaryVee show. If you don’t know, What’s Inside is a YouTube channel where Dan and Lincoln basically cut open a bunch of different things to find out what they’re made of. Some of their more popular videos are “What’s inside a Rattlesnake Rattle?” and “What’s inside a Giant Wasps Nest?”.

If you want to check out my friends from What’s Inside, you can find their content here:

  • Started a youtube channel and uploaded 200 videos. On my way to 1000 subs right now. But its not easy. It's hard.

  • If I could just make a living by making videos, that would be success to me. Don't gotta be huge.

  • Clubhouse is now my favorite place to get unbiased advice! Anyone else?

  • For the people in the back:
YOU’RE IN A MARATHON! TAKE YOUR SPRINTING SHOES OFF!

  • I just started a month ago and I definitely know I have no organic growth since it's all friends and family at this point. Here's to no more sharing on FB and researching how to get better!

  • Wow what an insights! This is gold for small YouTubers! 😀✅❤

  • This video truly helped me.. I think once you are really in the trenches and pushing out content it is very difficult. I understand now why and how so few make it, but in the end all you can do is continue down the path and see how it goes. Good luck to everyone!

  • FOLKS. We got this! Lets help each other out. Like/Comment to create a pool of YouTube starters and we'll check each others channels out 🙂

  • Ufff this was an eye opener… Fucking takes time doesnt it… Oh well… Thats what makes it worth it even more😇

  • Lol
Somebody told you it sucks. Bless GaryVee the guys a d the Youtuber

  • I went here because I just started a channel and have 61 subscribers and I am trying to make it to 100 and I want to make better videos

  • No one wants to hear the honest advice. It's a long grind. You can't just expect to grow overnight. It's such a long term game, which eliminates so many people from success!

  • I started well over a year ago and I’m trying to grow so much I am a streamer of a game called animal jam and my one goal and only goal is to become a jambassador and help out in the community not the subs or the likes and views just to make a difference in the gaming world it would mean to much for the help and advice!!

  • „7 to 11 years“ that’s truly that realistic, honest and terrific comment, I wanted to hear and which keeps me motivated. Thanks for your honest perspective Garry. Looking forward to get in touch with you some day. All the best until then!

  • No wonder why your dumb ass get 50 views with 50 subscribers. Two experts Gary Vee and this guy with 5 million subscribers are giving you honest feedback and you do not want to listen. Well you can continue being “50 subscriber guy”.

  • Who else else is trying to grow their channel during quarantine? Let’s help each other out much live and keep grinding

  • Agreed to this so much, YouTube is a marathon, you may not win, but If you love doing it, you know you would not win a marathon, but you like taking part in it, it’s about loving the process.🔥

  • I lived in a country where politeness is currency..
And honesty is never in the picture..

Gary's honesty just dont exist n frown upon..
Youth emulate their parents value like a religion..
N the nation falls far behind..

We need Gary brand of brash knuckle punch..
    👍🏻

  • You need to search for good titles.Dont go for titles that appears on top go on titles that are at down which has only 3000 or more search a month. Then click on them and watch if videos with 1000 views appear on top. If yes then go on and produce content you will get views. It always works. Even if your content sucks. And if your content is actually good you get ranked high in the more general terms.

  • Everyone is different. I think a huge part of it is about personality as well. Cause some channels blow up over night.
