I appreciate you for making this video and showing your setup. I’m expecting my tripod today, wondering how I’m going to set it up. I think I’m going to do my first video in my formal dining room. I have a special lamp, but just the microphone from my iphone. I’m going to try multiple areas before I make my first uploaded video. I’m going to use my iPhone 10. I got an email from PSA today that my order for 240 cards have shipped today. I’m a modern guy. All 240 cards are 87-93 cards, lots of Jordan’s. I quit collecting back around 93-94 because all the subsets, special insert sets, multiple companies etc…. When I started collecting it was just fleer then skybox, then upper deck so on and so forth. Appreciate the help!
What if I want a wider angle? What if I have background pictures I want in the frame while recording my cards ?

After seeing your setup, I'm thinking my plan for live breaks isnt good enough. I was planning on using chromebook, attaching a webcam with microphone, that's about it. Will that be enough for me to at least start doing a couple breaks?
I just bought a chromebook this morning, a webcam or 2 is next. I'm ready to start doing live breaks on youtube, just nervous on certain things. Like getting spreadsheets on the screen displaying teams and prices. Not sure how to do that yet. Anybody have suggestions? Again, just bought the chromebook today, so itll be here next week. I dnt need a big elaborate setup either. Something simple. Thanks!

What camera are you using for the video? Great quality!
I have started one, not too many people care. BUT, the people in the community are very friendly. I am not looking to make money though. I would just like some traffic, people commenting, it makes it more fun than putting all this effort and money into a video that gets 5 views. It's a long, slow and uncertain road making a channel.
I could use a little better lighting, that is true. My audio is all right.

I'm pretty nervous and just want to start with sharing some of my favorites,sharing inventory and opening mail days as I can't afford any boxes. I'm located in the Netherlands and finding cheap sports cards is impossible outside of eBay or entering breaks. Subbed,liked and ill be following you like a shadow,not a stalker lol.

Great video thank you for uploading! I've been thinking of starting a Yu-Gi-Oh card opening channeland this advice is just what I needed! I do have a couple questions that I'm hoping you may be able to answer for me though:
1. What software to you use to edit your videos?
2. I've seen a few card opening channels that have a front facing camera as well as the downward facing camera, is this something that you have experience with and can shed some light on?

Does the USB Mic plug into your DSLR camera or PC? If the PC, how do you get the audio to record/sync with the video recording on the SD card?
What about software to do your editing? Because of you and Gary V I went out and bought some cards to break today. I appreciate your help and encouragement. Now I just have to get set up. I used to do a video game podcast so I'm half way there with equipment but I used to use Audacity just for audio. I don't know what people use for video.
