Monetize YouTube Covers! How to make money from cover music?

However, while recording and uploading cover songs can be a great first step to building a fan base, monetizing those songs on traditional digital music services can be a nightmare if not done correctly.

Hello! I hope that I have contacted the address ?! I will be very glad if you help with advice and help remove the block for monetization, I do not know this topic well, I shoot my videos and post them on YouTube. my the video is not monetized, and the music sounds and the video is visible but not monetized, in what is my question: these videos that are not monetized contain song and footage from music videos of singers. for information, I engrave eggshells, and I engrave images of these singers, but most importantly, I have written consent from these singers for the songs, music and footage used their videos for my videos, that is: my video contains both topics, my engraving work and footage from these singers, there is even one video the singer's consent was filmed, and most importantly, these songs are not cover, but their official videos and songs when I watch In the description of these singers it says that the owners are some people and companies, can I remove the restriction on the monetization of my videos if I have the consent of these singers? they wrote these consent to me mainly on Instagram, in the mail gmail.com and on Facebook. Will such consent written by singers on such social networks work in order to remove the restriction on monetization? and if they do, what should I do, what and where to write and send so that the restriction can be lifted? thanks for the your reply. best wishes George! trt

We just uploaded a video of a cover song, but youtube says it won't be monetized as it contains lyrics written by the author. So, we'll have to buy the license (both mech and sync) to monetize our video. right?

Is a synchronization license required for Youtube even if just the audio is posted with a static image on the background (or having a video showing anything else other than the music performance itself), or the mechanical license would be enough in this case?

what if the music which my band plans to cover is intended to be remade in another genre of music, and then putting subtle changes to make another version out of the existing song?

So, how much is it to obtain all these licenses and what companies that help someone get all the licenses are the most affordable? I would like some insight on that from you to help in my search and decision. Thank you.

Would a guitar lesson where you just play a solo to a metronome or possibly record a similar backing track to play a solo over get a copyright strike? If so, how can I get around this?

I wish to make a channel which features lyrical videos of songs from emerging artists in Pakistan, but I have many questions before I attempt to do that. Will I be able to generate money from that? Can I get strike or claim even if I mention the artist/album? Also what is the difference between strike and claim?

2 of my music (cover) vedios get copyright claim fromthe original owner because may be I didn't put labels of the original owner . After that I put all the labels. Did now that claim get removed from my vedios or aren't ?
