• Hello Roberto, thank you for the insight. I had YouTube for a long time and enjoy watching your videos and other creative people’s videos. Sometimes it felt lonely and such especially with the pandemic going on. Also with changes in my life. I thought I’ll try to put my art out here on YouTube too. It gets isolating working on things, but I enjoy watching studio vlogs and other creatives videos while working on things because they keep me company. I thought I’ll try to give back and do the same. I think it is something cool with YouTube building an online community.

• I started YouTube because when I was hit by a drunk/high on cocaine driver while I was walking it changed my life. The months I spent on my bed recovering I remember watching so many encouraging videos that helped me get through the pain. I wanted to pay it forward for anyone else going through difficulties and need to watch something relaxing like a tutorial or motivating like loosing weight. It's been 2.5 years since I started and still growing and connecting with people! One of the best decisions I ever made😄

• I think while listening to your video it help me focus more and realize I’m a band geek making beats. I actually began making YouTube videos in 2006 I didn’t do it for a long long time and basically I auditioned for a marching band on YouTube in a video and I got about $30,000 scholarship because of it and also the video went about 80,000 viewers viral in 2006 before I was a crab in the upper class men during the hazing process made me delete my video

• I'm scared to speak in public but I'm very passionate about certain causes and believe I could contribute greatly to discussions if I could only get over my fears of public speaking. • trying to get a specific answer to a question in my want to become a creator. I know I hear a lot from you about finding what it is I am passionate about and making videos for that, my issue is that I feel I'm passionate about many things that are totally unrelated that I would like to make content about. I'm as equally passionate about technology as I am about classical literature as I am about funny videos of my cats. Is there like a 'catch all' type of channel I should aim for? should I make separate channels? The issue is I really want to make a channel for all those things but need a category or advice how to do that. Thank you!

• I started YouTube cause I wanted an space to share art and opinions and help and be helped with people who suffers from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, etc.

• I started doing YouTube because I saw a friend of mine doing it in high school and thought it would be really fun to do as a hobby; however, while I still think its fun, there's more to it than that. I'm a Pokemon YouTuber, and now I want my channel to be able to unite different people across the world through Pokemon. I want to show people how Pokemon can impact people and change lives. This is something I discovered about myself more recently, so I need to start making more content that reflects that. Although I still wanna make that fun content I first thought about. YouTube also allows me to be myself and openly express my thoughts and opinions.

• This vid is so encouraging. Because of the unorthodox nature of the content I want to create, I have no expectation of more than, say, five subscribers. However, passion is not a problem. I have been creating the content already for years. Perhaps it is ok to give what I want to do “validation” despite low-interest likelihood and being passion driven as perhaps its only attribute.

• Personally making videos gives me a big satisfaction, I really enjoy seeing a finished video after hours of work. And I upload the videos because if there is anyone at all that would enjoy my effort and time, then I want them to enjoy it.

  I started in YouTube in 2015, but didn't start really wanting to share more than I do now and that's because I am trying to do things that make me uncomfortable, I believe in order to be the best version of ourselves we have to do that.

  I also want to do this because I went to college and studied film and production and love, love to video edit and tell stories. I use my channel as a way to explore/improve my editing skills artistically and for others to be inspired.

  I'm just getting serious about having a music/songwriting channel after putting it off since 2009! I know I have major potential, but I'm super dreading that "finding your voice" period that's ahead (finding my voice in music was agonizing at times).
