  • Short answer. The reason why gaming channels are hard is because there’s over thousands of channels that are doing the same thing which makes it harder. You look at mr beast and wonder it’s because he does content that not many people are doing.

  • I think a major problem is the lack of identity and soul when it comes to a lot of gaming YouTubers now. A lot of people are inspired by the likes of PewDiePie, Markiplier, DashieGames, etc. But what they don’t realize is that they are big because they play video games, it’s because of they’re comedic and likable personalities while playing video games. You watch those guys to see their reactions to playing said games, not the games themselves. Too many gamers on YT just have a facecam and stare blankly at their screens.

  • We can all use that motivation at the End there. Thanks for all this you do for this community. 😀

  • Me who streams because I love editing but I just get to perfectist so I just go live cuz I have way to much homework to edit the videos to a te

  • God damn can I relate to deafening tinnitus 😂 that ish is the worst

  • Im not gonna lie i started out as twitch streamer and opened my youtube channel to gain traction, but now I mainly want to be a content creator (still want to stream but its so fun to make videos)

Although I was just trying to write a script to my new video(nothing big) and I am always left with the feeling why should I post this ? its not gonna gain traction, and since i just spend 2 hours watching successful content creators' youtube videos to try and create templates for my future videos, I keep getting the feeling of why bothering i can't implement it, i don't have anything useful to say.

I don't know if this makes sense but i just had an urge to write it somewhere
    also awesome video!

  • Yea gaming nowadays is kinda dumb

  • Damn when he said “Most streamers don’t want to be content creators, they want to play games for money” i felt personally attacked lol i was looking at this in a wrong way , got to rethink my game plan here!

  • mostly streamers are play game bruuh, and for youtube is relate with content creator

  • A common pattern I also notice with YouTubers that stick out are ones with a story. It's usually a great hook, and one that can also be implemented well in video games.

  • Working and growing gaming channel is very hard

  • i tune cars on carx but there’s plenty of people who do that there’s nothing else to carx tune cars an tandmes 😂 need more driving an drifting games on console

  • Just wanted to say thanks for this video. Short, yet meaningful. You just said what I haven't been able to put into words. It made me rethink my goals and aspirations. Thanks again!

  • Hey what about the gaming tip creators, or are they the pro classification???

  • If you're a hot chick, your gaming channel will get millions……..there I said it

  • Very interesting. Personally, I think I would fall into both catergories to some extent. I haven't created for years because of private matters, but it's also hard to start. I never streamed because when I made youtube videos, it wasn't that big to stream yet. For me, yeah, of course I dream of earning money to play games, which gamer doesn't? But at the same time, I love being creative, so being a "creator" resonates with me. The problem is fear. Putting my face on camera for the world to see and actually streaming like that is like the scariest shit ever.
Don't see myself becoming a gaming vtuber either, don't think that tends to go as well for men as it does for women. Not entirely sure, I'm not too deep into the vtubing world, so I could be wrong.

So I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. I don't think many people have the patience anymore nowadays to watch pre-made gameplay videos, especially with no face attached and doubly so entire playthroughs. Am I wrong? Honestly I want to come back onto youtube and there's all these things I want to do, but I don't even know where to begin. I automatically shoot down every idea I come up with when it comes to making videos and for streaming, well, there's that aspect of fear. I have autism too, maybe that explains some of it, idk.

  • I want to play video game and I want people to enjoy my video , My goal actually is just to make people happy as they watch my video, is that a solid goal?

  • I started a YouTube gaming channel playing story driven games to just have fun meet new people share what I love doing makes me happy

  • I just do it for fun currently, I’m trying new different things testing my abilities in editing and talking. Nothing special, still trying to find my thing

  • thanks for the info, I have a goal to entertain people with my content. I want to be the person when kids get home from school they are wondering if another one of my videos have dropped. I want to get people through tough times like YouTube has done so many times for me!

  • I only watch one gaming channel Neeb Gaming and they don't put on fake voices and that type of rubbish and with over two million subs they must do ok
