$65,000 worth of gear stolen from California camera shop
A camera store in California was robbed last month, with $65,000 worth of gear stolen in only three minutes. A recently released security camera footage shows what happened: robbers broke in by smashing a car into the storefront. After that, 13 people stormed in, taking all they could get and damaging the store along the way.

The took place at Mac Star Cameras & Electronics in Corona on April 17, 2023. The security camera footage reveals that the robbers crashed their car into the store twice, resulting in damage to both the exterior and interior. 13 masked people stormed in, ransacking the shelves. According to Corona Police Department, they took gear estimated to $65,000’s worth.
“A lot of the items that they took were for professional photographers,” Melissa Delgado, the store manager, told CBS Los Angeles. According to the same source, the same store was robbed before. Store owners claim that they’ve been targeted as many as seven times before. However, no arrests have been made in any of the previous burglaries or the most recent one, at least not yet.
What is encouraging, though, is that the police managed to find the vehicle used to smash into the storefront. There are reportedly several pieces of evidence found inside the car, and the analysis is ongoing. The police adds that an ID and a cell phone were also found inside the store. Hopefully, all of this will lead to the perpetrators.
