AFFILIATE LINK DISCLOSURE: Friends, making a quality Loloho video is kind of like making sausage β only slightly more violent. It’s a ridiculous amount of work that typically involves high dollar camera drops, blue-screen-of-death computer crashes, and at least one angry shotgun wielding old man shouting, βHey! Get the hell outta here!β Once the final video is posted, rewards here on YouTube are few and far between (unless you are a masochist who enjoys being verbally abused by anonymous trolls). One saving grace is our affiliate links. JUST CLICKING THESE LINKS HELPS TO SUPPORT OUR LITTLE SHOW. Think of this clicking as like tipping – except that it doesn’t cost you anything extra! If you eventually make a purchase via one of our affiliate links, we will receive a few pennies (and Sean typically invests these pennies in duct tape and video gear). Again, it doesn’t cost you anything to click these links, and it’s a great help to us. As always, safe travels, happy camping, and THANK YOU!

Reese says to grease my hitch ball(s). Not sure how I feel about that π¬
Well done! Thanks Sean π
Excellent reminder about awnings! I remember camping with friends that had left their RV for a few hours, leaving their awning up. A storm decided to blow in. The wind was so strong that It tore the awning off their RV! One of the arms of the awning turned into a projectile, almost hitting a friend of ours who was standing under a canopy, where that arm actually few into, tearing a large hole trough the canopy and actually nicking our friends arm under the canopy! So yes, please, please put your awning up when you leave your RV for any length of time!
Great channel, I've learned a lot from it and just purchased my first TT. Have y'all considered a composting toilet? An install would make for a great episode π
Sean, Just curious, does anyone make a checklist that you can go through before travel?
Dear Sean and Kristy, I don't normally associate with travel trailer people but you seem like a nice couple. I also enjoy your campsite information, particularly about toptions in the Florida panhandle and the Keys. We will be renting a 25 foot class C for our "Christmas with the Kranks" trip and heading south from VA. The Destin beach site looks very promising for a 2 day stay. Any pros and/or cons about that location you can share? Please review and advise at your earliest convenience.
I like all the Nomad videos on YouTube and yours are great. I'm watching the "Long Long Trailer" movie on the Popcorn channel with Lucille Ball as I write this and I will forever associate you guys with that movie!
Let us go back to number 4. At 7:00 to 7:18 you can plainly see a set of holes that line up when the latch is latched. Those are for a lock pin or padlock to ensure your latch, when latched, is locked. Required in most states.
I have a 3 way ball on my truck because I own both a travel trailer and a utility trailer. The utility trailer needs a 2" ball and the travel trailer a 2 5/16". After traveling 6540 miles, 18 states, 5 national parks this June without any incidents, when I unhitched back at my home, I realized I had been towing the travel trailer with the 2" ball. Big bone head mistake, thinking of painting them different colors.
I'm looking for wheel chocks like the ones that you use… simple cam over center lever…? I've scoured Amazon and the Google but can't find that specific type. And help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance…. loloho
We recently went through our first (and hopefully, only) earthquake while in the RV! I was thinking how important those wheel chocks were in that situation alone! #5 is a good one too, I always use the handle while going in and out of the trailer (luckily, I've only tripped going UP the stairs…so far)
Hi, just discovered your channel. I had a failure of my 5th wheel landing gear. I used bottle jacks to support my trailer. When I attempted to back under my trailer, the jacks tipped and the trailer fell onto the bed of my truck, crushing the bed of my truck. A $4000.00 newbie mistake. A new set of landing gear was $400.00
Where did you get your kitchen spice rack?
Nicely Explained …. mvc
Th e"RV Bible" according to Loloho! Thanks for sharing so much great information.
I agree chock wheels, and extra careful on slops all wheels chocked this will help prevent trailer from rolling. Parking on flat is always best, but not always possible.
I am a want to be newby. I watch every one of your video's and love them. Some I have watched a couple of times. I'm hoping to be buying my first fifth wheel this coming weekend from a private seller.I have listened to you and others about the horrors of Camping World. I would like to share my bad experience with LOLOHO nation. Last weekend I drove 6hrs to Kingston NY. To a Camping world that advertised a Keystone Montana. This trip including my Hotel stay cost me $400. When I got to the Dealer and checked out the unit, It wasn't the same one advertised. The salesman argued with me about it. I told him to look online. He did but conveniently couldn't bring up the pictures. I brought them up on my phone and proved to him it wasn't the unit advertised. He got the sales manager and the tried to get me to buy the unit they had for the same price as the one advertised but the unit they had looked like it traveled only on gravel roads. The undercarriage was all beat up. Plus half of the options that were on the other one wern't on this on.Keep in mind this unit was a 2018. The salesman got real arrogant with me and walked out. I told the manager that I'd heard nothing but bad things about Camping world. He told me I was the nature of the business. I walked out. Please post this and warn people to stay away from Camping World. Thanks!!! Love you guys. Hope to see you on the road soon.
Have you ever had a clogged toilet? Its something that happens after you throw too much toilet paper in the toilet as it is just a straight shot to the tank.
Are two satanic, because ad the and of your program you give sign of satan.
Hey Sean, I've posted before on other videos. We have the same floorpan though I have the Safari 25. One thing I have done before that thankfully did no damage was to start running the power jack up before raising the stabilizer jacks up- not good. Nothing got hurt as I caught myself but it is something I witnessed a couple doing on their RV next to me once as well. Easy mistake.
Newbie mistake #8: keeping the black water tank valve open all the time because you have the luxury of full hookup. Black water tank accumulates solids and your close neighbours may come to have a chat about the foul odours wafting into their campsite.
Newbie mistake 7! Using the stabilizers as levelers. We ended up having to replace a bent one before we learned their proper use.
Thanks for the good tips. Do you still use the Camco water (drinking) hose on your trailer? I've been looking at the ZeroG. Take care and be safe.
I made one of these mistakes in our first four months of owning a travel trailer. Forgot to chalk the tires. Rolled back about 3β and stopped. No harm, no foul and lesson learned.
