Are you tired of tripping 15 amp breakers with your 30 amp travel trailer, fifth wheel, or motorhome? Then it’s time to install a 30 amp RV outlet onto your home! With a receptacle that matches the amperage rating of your RV you’ll be able to run high draw appliances without having to worry about tripping circuit breakers.
For those of you with 50 amp RV’s, keep in mind that the installation process is not the same for a 50 amp outlet. 50 amp RV outlets require a different circuit breaker as well as different wiring. However, I still recommend watching the video as there are tips and tricks shown on how to trim around the receptacle box for a professional finished look, general home electrical panel wiring tips, and steps on how to test the new RV receptacle when finished.
