Thanks for tuning in! Should I get a new Polaris to plow snow? Maybe a UTV with a cab so I don't freeze to death? Let me know below.

What a fun video I love where you live. I could plow snow all day
Did u say the San Jacinto mountains southeast of big Bear?
I am surprise how good they work for plowing, I been using mime for maybe 7 years now
I have a 2001 Polaris 325 Magnum with a manual Warn plow, very similar to yours, however my machine is camo and not āprofessional.ā I also use a winch to lift and lower the blade and like you, I get off the machine to angle the blade. I plow snow on our private road since our municipal doesnāt plow about 800 feet where our house and 3 others reside. Iām lucky that my driveway is at least flat. I personally will not part with mine, it has been a reliable machine for almost 20 years now. Funny that my rear brake for 10+ years was useless too, just like yours. I broke down and took mine to a Polaris dealer and had it completely serviced about 2 years ago. When getting it serviced I had them fix the rear brake and it has worked great ever since. I didnāt like relying on just one brake. The machine came back running like new! The guy who serviced mine, who services all the modern quads, told me how much he likes the old simple machines that are so much easier to service. Up to you what you do with yours, but for me, Iām hanging on to the old girl, she has been good to me. š
Great video
The reason for the advertisement decal of the " shaft drive system" is up to about 2000 most polaris' had rear chain drive.
Any stability issues? On that off cambered slippery driveway you would have to be careful.
I use a 16 Yamaha kodiak 700(Yamahaās work quad version)to plow my way into my cabin. And where ever else I feel like plowing lol. Love it!!
I have a 38hp diesel tractor, I can tell you trying to plow snow with a stock front loader bucket is not fun. Hard to see, hard to get level without digging in, can't angle it. A rear 3pt blade would be easier (don't currently have one). I fixed up a $500 1987 Suzuki Quadrunner and thinking about getting a plow for it. 4 wheel independent suspension, 5 gears + 3 ranges + 2wd/4wd/4wd with front diff lock. Still chugging along with over 5k miles on the clock. I would recommend keeping your quad till it gives up the ghost… probably no time soon.
Argo has been working with Clearpath Robotics ,but may be more Zamboni.
Not many swamps in Cali huh
Plot twist: the Polaris had ABS and TC but not tubeless rims
Are you plowing the whole road for the neighborhood? You getting compensated for that so you can keep the Polaris going strong?
If you get a new one, keep this one around as a backup.
I'm in South Florida, and it was 86Ā° here today. This video made me incredibly jealous.
If I'm ever in your area during a snowstorm, I'll pay you to let me plow your neighborhood road. That looked awesome!
If you have to replace that for the soul purpose of plowing, maybe consider a kubota side by side.
Can get them with doors, heat, ac, radio, mirrors, caution blinkers.
But of course thatās $25,000 probably
Hope Jeremy Renner is okay tho.
Is it too soon for a snow plow video? Parking brake not working? Scary.
Aww please don't change it, it's so old and reliable and sounds like a great machine it no longer owes you anything, i get so attached to old reliable vehicle's, you could buy a new one and get nothing but trouble with it
Finally!!
Okay buddy. I knew you had one of these in you! š¤£
