Visiting my brother Thomas for the past six weeks is the longest our RV has been stationary since we first hit the road back in July of 2017! After being spoiled by unlimited electricity and water, as well as not moving our RV to a new site every week or two, we’re worried it’ll take us a bit to get back into the swing of full time traveling!

  • Fate Unbound, I just want to point out that your comparison between the air quality and 7 cigarettes is misleading. Cigarettes are full of many harmful chemicals and the addicting drug Nicotine. Don't want any children getting the idea that smoking is okay.

  • I know exactly where you guys are here because my parents live in Sequim. If you're ever up that way again you should check out the waterfall in Brinnon. (Not a place to take a camper, but, a good day trip). It has a natural pool great to swim in (during the rare months it's warm enough lol)

  • Set up an emergency tool box in the bed of ur truck, I have one in mine with a roll up jack, instead of the no good stock jack, put a tire plugging kit in the box with a small air pump, u can get all this at Walmart cheap. Plus think of anything else u may need in a road emergency situation, I even have an awesome Jayco battery jumper that is very small but very powerful. I love it, bought it on Amazon. I hope this info helps.

  • One of the reasons I need to get out of the Rogue Valley, Oregon, is the smoke. It's not going to get better. If you're in OR or WA during July, August, and now September, the coast is much better. Summers are becoming hazardous to health in western states. Your sleepy cats are adorable!

  • We can't wait to tow to the Northwest. A long haul from here in Oklahoma. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thank you so much for the information my wife and I are in the market for a trailer we are both retired and looking to hit the road this summer I'm really interested in solar panels for the camper we are going to purchase I was working in Seattle in 2008 at the steel mill love the city the state is beautiful we are from Alabama and I want to take my wife to Seattle I fell in love with the city lots to do I really like your how to videos so I can do my updates myself I don't know if you all have done a video on five things I don't like about my camper I see a lot on the internet some good some bad we have started looking for our home away from home wish us luck

  • Being originally from Oregon, always did my tire business at Les Schwab. Fair and honest as a company.
Your brother has a nice car.

  • A properly plugged tire (in a safe region) most often will last the life of a tire. Our last 3 Rams have had a built in tire pressure monitoring system and I check them everyday upon setting out. We carry a small $40 12 volt compressor with us so we're prepared for such a situation. Catching the tire early in the deflation mode and plugging it with the kit and then inflating to the proper level is still easier than dropping the spare, switching the wheel and reinstalling the flat under the truck in my opinion. We also carry a windshield repair kit just for emergencies also. My life experiences have shown that once you start carrying the remedies, the issues stop happening 🙂

  • Trying to find where you boondocks, you have GPS coordinates?

    Thanks

  • It’s such a blessing to have found the nail! Angels are watching over you! 👼 Beautiful scenery! So proud of you both & your amazing journeys!

  • Great advice on checking tire pressure routinely. Pretty much everyone does the tire rotation and repair deal, even Costco FYI. Thanks for another great video!

  • I just found your channel. My wife and I have been talking about doing this when our kids graduate in 4 years. Seems too long! I'll be checking out more of your videos.
You're a very cool couple, keep up the great work!

  • We love your videos and have been talking about doing this ourselves! Question – we read that you guys land somewhere and stay for several weeks at a time. Our question is – what do you do all day??? I understand the travel and getting there, but if you're there for 2-4 weeks, how do you fill your days?? Thanks, keep up the great videos!

  • Do you have to park out in the open for your solar to work?

  • I hope this is ok to ask, how do you afford to full time?

  • SMART MOVE ON THE TIRE….glad you guys are back on the road….looking forward to the campsite reviews:)

  • do you have diesel or gas and how many mpg you get with your setup on average?

  • Looks like you guys are skipping right over the best places to see, just to get a free spot to park 😶
    Hurricane Ridge …
Elwha River. Biggest, or maybe tallest dam removal in US history…
    Several great spots.

  • Not sure what the delay is between shooting and posting, but if you all are coming south on I-5, and want to come through the Columbia Gorge, we'd be glad to have you park on our property and visit. Let me know if you want contact information. We are near Cascade Locks, Oregon.

  • Today was the first clear day all summer in Denver. Fires everywhere west and north of us all summer. So sick of it

  • I hope you enjoyed my City of Seattle. I was born and raised here. The wildfire smoke is horrible. We are getting smoke from CA fires, from Canada fires, and from Easter WA fires. We love the Olympic Peninsula and spend lots of time there. I know you will love it!!

  • Being prepared for tire problems is a "Must Know" for RVer's. Don't be STUPID as "Gone with the Wynns" video on "Alaska Bound". They crossed into Alaska with gas tanks not full, no tire repair kit and not knowing how to use their Air Pump plus NO cell coverage traveling on dirt roads!

  • What type of water filtration are U using? There is a nice configuration by "Chickery's Travels" on Youtube video "Water Filtration System". Just trying to keep you well informed!

  • I enjoy UR videos. Why haven't U purchased a WeBoost Connect RV 65 for $650 to boost UR cell signals? No more complaining about weak signals in National Campgrounds!

  • Good Morning. You need a TPS sys for the truck and trailer. Jack

  • Not surprised you had smoke. It's
    here in Massachusetts.
