I bought this utility trailer for just $200 and challenged myself to build a trailer that was beautiful, functional, and cheap enough to build. With the help of a bit of new material, and a lot of reused scavenged material, I will turn it into a luxurious solo micro RV camper. The camper can probably sleep two, but just barely, if another section was added.

We also outfitted the camper with a Cubic Mini Wood Stove: https://cubicminiwoodstoves.com/collections/cub-cb-108/products/cb-1008-br-cubic-mini-wood-stove?variant=11416837252
The flooring was from Bigelow Flooring: https://bigelowflooring.ca/
We used as many salvaged materials as we could, from the parted out garage door sections for the frame, to the windows from an old camper RV we took apart last year. The trim was from an old house we renovated.
The wall sections, trim, and siding are all mechanically fastened with nails or screws and glued with construction adhesive to make sure they don’t loosen up when the trailer is hauled on the road.
We added lots of extra features like an outdoor cook station that drops down, interior storage in open wood containers, drop down desk and fold up Murphy bed to free up interior space. The camper is outfitted with interior and exterior lighting, hook spots for cookwear and clothing.

“Self-Reliance” is an 1841 essay written by American transcendentalist philosopher and essayist Ralph Waldo Emerson. It contains the most thorough statement of one of Emerson’s recurrent themes: the need for each individual to avoid conformity and false consistency, and follow his own instincts and ideas. This channel will approach self reliance from a modern perspective. and will focus on various build projects using modern amenities, and tools to build a completely self reliant lifestyle.

Awesome work! YehUh! You won hands down!
I like yours better but it needs some sort of roof over your galley area.
Maybe screens for the windows?
I believe you won! Very cute, comfortable and functional go anywhere cabin!
Nice build. I'm glad I came across this. I was subscribed and then I just noticed I wasn't. I'm not subbed on Zach's anymore I see too.
We never hear a.price on the build
This is awesome would definetly love one ❤️
Storage box outside rear end would be great.
Came out very good.
Hi, wonderful! Do you need to keep some air flow into the camper while using the wood stove [for CO2 safety]?
That was good, thanks!
I became a subscriber on this build alone.
This was so cool. I'm presuming you are in Canada, yes?
Do you take orders? I am guessing that is about $6000 to build, including people's time.
Thank you!!!
Why didn’t you bump out the sides to be flush with the fenders?? Then your bed would be off the floor 👍
U should always burn out ur new stove outside before u install it. Because of the fresh paint in it. Stinky fumes
I think u won that
it's interesting how little we really need
this stuff is so cool, white ppl are very interesting 👏🏾👏🏾

RV stores sometimes have those crank out housings. I've had to replace the ones on an old camper more than once (especially because kids seem to overcrank). Cautionary, they're not all the same so take it with you.
