Campground review: Sunset Park Campground ~ Kansas Road trip ~ Full Time RV living ~ POA vlog

Our full time RV traveling this week led us to 4-M Campground aka Sunset Park Campground in Smith Center, Kansas. It is close to the geographical center of the 48 states of America. The campsites do offer full hookups, free wifi, and pull thru capability for all rigs sizes and/or tent camping. We found this spot on RV Parky and found another one close by that was free camping on Campendium. Had some ups and downs, especially before we left, so come see what happened and let us know what you think! Comment down below if you have any questions, what we should try, or visit as we travel across America! Thank you for watching! • Looked like some old hook ups there…. but my goodness… in Kansas and the severe weather alarm WOW…. did you see ToTo?? we stayed at a small park in Holly Co that we paid by envelope… business card is a great idea. ~ Brad and Diana

  • POA! 😁👍 Looks like they could mow a little grass. Maybe a little maintenance too! Yes, be prepared. It's scary in a storm in a camper. I need to get a ladder too. Oh sure, that was an empty envelope. 🤔🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for sharing your adventure.

  • You sure did remain calm during that storm! Hate storms in the camper. Looks like a quiet campground. We are excited to see videos from where you are for the summer! Thanks for sharing, Paul & Magen

  • We are pretty sure there is a movie about the bad storms is Kansas..Dorothy and her little dog can tell you about it! Glad there was no damage to the RV. Great find for a little RV park. Chasing RV Sunshine ☀️

  • Coming on over from Bluewave Odyssey… congrats on your 1K milestone. You guys looked so calm during that storm… I'm a total freak in that kind of weather! LOL Kent is always so patient with me when I'm pretty sure we're going to flip over in the wind. I'm actually a lot more relaxed now than when we first started RV life, but I know I'd be freaking out in that Kansas storm.

  • Thanks for sharing your campground review! $25 is not bad for full hookups! ~ Shion and Matthew

  • That was quite the storm, I guess it's not tornado season, or hopefully it isn't. During storms I get bad thoughts of something through the trailer or falling on the roof. Glad your rig survived it. 🙂

  • We are still trying to figure out where we go next. Lol. And trying to find cheap campgrounds. And what app for cheap campgrounds on a Android phone. We don't want to do Thousand Trails membership. We are cheap. Lol

  • Not a bad price for a pull through with full hookups. Does look like it needs a little TLC. For sure the grass needs cut. lol Good move on have the dog bone. We have one as well. Holy crap was that siren for a tornado? That storm is intense. Dang that is a lot of water on the ground. Jag was ready. I agree, free is always better. I have been through some storms and they can suck. Great video y'all.

  • Hi friends. "Hey honey. Go take the trash out now." Oh my!! What an interesting way to heat the pipe. I'm pretty sure I saw Dorothy and Toto fly by outside the window. Glad you guys are ok. I imagine that can be scary in an RV. And I'm glad there was no damage to the roof! Thanks for taking us along for the journey.

  • What a great little campground. I didn’t realize you go could UP in amps from 30 to 50. We’ve only ever gone down. Those sirens are scary. They say get your butt to safety. Did you ever find out what hit the roof? Not a bad little campground for $25/night.

  • It’s always scary when something hits the roof, I hate parking under trees. That’s a lot of mud. $25 isn’t bad. I really hate hail storms in the RV.

  • it is always good to have things when you need them . No matter how long you live in a rv Storms can be unsettling . Glad there was no damage . the camp ground seems a bit run down but its great that there are places to spend the night on trips
