State, National Park, and National Forest campgrounds are closing all across the country due to the coronavirus outbreak. This is a massive problem since there are an estimated 1 million full time RVers in the United States. So where are we all supposed to go?

Jenni and I won’t be disrupted too much by these campground closures since we boondock in dispersed camping areas in National Forests and BLM land 99% of the time, however we are not the norm. The vast majority of RVers stay in campgrounds though and many will now be displaced.

One thing that will definitely affect us though is the closures of National Parks. As of writing this, many of the major National Parks have closed including Yellowstone, Yosemite, Rocky Mountain National Park, and more. We had plans to visit Zion in the coming weeks but, despite Zion remaining open, we will not be going into the park for our own safety since Zion is jam-packed with people and we understand the importance of proper social distancing.
