Class C RV Tour & βœ… Free Camping Checklist

This season is all about motorized RVing and we’re kicking things off with a Class A, B, and C! We figured out right away that we needed a camping checklist to help remember the essentials. You can download it for free here – https://KeepYourDaydream.com/checklist

ℹ️ About the episode:
This is the second episode with the Jayco Class C that we rented to share different motorized RV experiences. We got the boys Subaru Crosstrek setup to be flat towed and took the Class C to Catalina State Park and Saguaro National Park. In this episode, we make our way Lost Dutchman State Park and provide a tour of the Class C. This trip has been riddled with setbacks and obstacles, but we’re still grateful to share the experience to compare to other RVs we’ve had. We also share our weekend warrior checklist that you can download using the link above.

  • Three inches!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Hillarious!!!

  • Trish seemed less than thrilled lfrom the beginning about this RV.

  • Thank you for sharing your "out of sorts" trip. Sometimes when I have one I just want to lay in bed and cry for a week. This makes me feel so much better. πŸ’œ

  • My understanding is that a Subaru with the CVT transmission is not towable. Is there a way around this? I’m getting a new Outback and would love to be able to tow it behind our Class A.

  • Do you think Charlie gets car sick which is why he gets anxious? Such a beautiful dog. Thanks for such great video. Beautiful scenery. Definitely want to go there some day!
Ok freaked me out about the rattle snakes 🐍

  • It can strike 2-3 feet I hope your camera is 8 feet away

  • Big enough to kill anyone of you and your dog for sure with a good bite, leave it alone…and how long it would take you to find anti venom.

  • You guys are the cutest family EVER❣️πŸ₯°

  • To backup with that car on bungee the steering wheel in the car so it cant over turn.

  • Just started watching your videos and it reminds me of my brand new 1983 Jayco J Crane 35’8” fifth wheel…i traded in a 21’ Cree tow trailer…and I bought it in Millington, TN. KEPT IT TILL AFTER i retired from the Navy in 1992. I worked on the flight deck for 3 years parking helicopters with a pitching deck, so the Jayco was easy to park, back in, everything. I am looking at a new 2022-2023 Ford 250. One reason is because with a diesel I never have to worry about a gas leak, diesel has a higher flashpoint and you get more power than gasoline. I have probably a dozen questions and I need a source for helping me sort out answers, and asking the right answers. I definitely WANT a larger or a dual tank as I do not like to stop except for food, fuel, and rest stops. Airbags like you did for softer ride. LED Backup lights on my trailer. Gearing, and what gear ratio (transmission and differential) and diesel motor I WANT. Do I NEED or WANT 4X4…

  • Trish- I saw you using rocks to hols your tablecloth down. I'm not sure where she got them, but, my mom uses metal clips, kinda shaped like a squared-off "J" or "C", flat, about 3/4 inch wide, thin sprin steel. They slip over the table, long side on top, holding the cloth to the table. Wind? No problem. If I had to guess, they would have been a camping world or target thing. They work a treat.

  • Everything looks amazing trish but how did you melt your brie on the grill??

  • Why do you not just look at the map gps many times gets you on a myna trail no kidding

  • Wow! What an adventure you had on this trip. To return the Rv and then you had to go all the way back after being stuck in traffic when the my called you to return the keys. What a day that was. Glad you didn’t damage the car after the sharp turn. Something good should and would and could come out if this. It still was a great video. Love your videos. You are a great family.

  • Thank you for the tour of the Class C. It’s very very nice.

  • Watching this video from my β€œnew” Jayco Redhawk 26’ class C in a state park! Loving it! After your scare with the Subaru towing… SO SO glad I decided NOT to flat tow! I’m full time and just in the Class C. Who knows? Maybe down the road a TT and a truck… but for now; this is good.

  • I laughed at when Trish said she’d call the checklist get your shizzle together. You and Trish are always going by a checklist. Or I thought you did. You all make me laugh when I watch your videos. I like that. I’m glad you do. We all in need laughter. Glad to see Trish getting a cookbook ready. Her food always looks good. And healthy.

  • Just got home from The Lost Dutchman. We drove all the way from Slidell La in our new Jayco 31F Greyhawk. Had a blast, met a man there who knows you personally and said to check out this Youtube channel. Great video, will check out your others.

  • How do you flat toe a Subaru? According to all of my research, no Subarus can be safely flat towed.

  • Charlie is so cute! Our English cream golden girl is lovingly referred to as "the reluctant puppy" she behaves the same way. An adorable trait…most of the time. πŸ˜„

  • I've been having an annoying week. i needed this! misery loves company, thanks! πŸ™‚

  • Thank you for the checklist! We are weekend warriors and I was just about to make one. We end up forgetting a couple of things every single trip. Now, I can just use yours! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

  • The hose hanging by the sewer dumped is only to be used to clean the sewer hose out not for freshwater that why its hanging up in the air I been camping with my family for years and I own a camper trailer my self going camping in the state of Missouri in the summer and fall months

  • Charlie is not a Class A or C lover. Wants his truck back.

  • Trish tell me about the towels you mentioned in a recent video . Do they absorb well? I have them in my Amazon basket ready to push the button lol

  • It's great to see rookies on their first time camping it is so funny and by the way everybody knows you drink red wine out of a red solo cup

  • The Class C takes me back to MTV Road Rules (is that what it was called??) minus the drama. But then!! The hits kept coming and your trip "just wouldn't let up!" Thanks for sharing, guys!!

  • I just recently found your channel. We got our first travel trailer, and I've learned lots from your channel. I also like seeing where you've camped etc. You are both so natural in your videos, and love that you show when things break or malfunction, etc. I hope to share some of our trailer info we've learned on my channel (such as our power cord getting pinched and my husband fixing it today). Thanks for sharing your adventures, tips and tricks!

  • We appreciated the Pilot/Flying J RV fuel sites that we found on our trip from Texas to Nevada. Stayed in Catalina SP in AZ and loved it.

  • If you need to back up with a TOAD, sometimes having somebody in the car steering works.

  • We watched about a dozen people rinse their sewer hoses with the water hose suspended above the dump station this morning. Then we watched someone fill their water tables with the same hose. Sigh……

  • Love your channel! Also from AZ- N. Phx!
Do you have any tips for an rv beginning who is going to try renting first? We are having an rv delivered to a dry campsite at Lake Powell- what should we know about managing water and electricity if we are new?!!

  • Awesome episode. When Caleb is the sane one you know this episode is a doozy. Just shows you guys are crazy funny and real people. Good Job!
