  • 8 freaking kids. Few tips. 1. Keep legs closed, 2. Wear a condom, 3. Get fixed. People have this many kids milk the system. See it a lot. I have 2 kids I told her to get fixed. She decided not to be instead on birth control.

  • How do you convert it from bus, which requires CDL, to RV which doesn't? Or is that possible? Also is that State specific?

  • I am interested in doing a bus conversion, I already travel for work. It's just me and my spouse and can't forget my little doxie. Where do I start and so on??? Kind of have an idea of what I want but where to start? Any help appreciated.

  • did you know that there's a high headroom version of your perticular bus? you should've bought the high headroom version of the bus instead of having a hard time raising the roof on the low headroom version.

  • Where did you do the conversion while being able to also stay in the original rv? Did you have to pay monthly rent? Awesome build!

  • I should preface my comment by stating that I would love to convert a school bus into a home. What I think is most miraculous, is that there are no negative comments on this channel in this age of YouTube trollery! I would imagine you have almost a full-time job deleting the negativity. I can definitely see how kids could enjoy this when they're small like yours, but I wonder how they will feel as teenagers? This is simply a modern version of the "Traveler" lifestyle that families have been living for hundreds of years, just a lot less insular or countercultural. But, I would imagine your children will be much better educated and well adjusted to participate in society than Gypsies. 🙂 Good luck to you!

  • A plan: A bed. A stove. An ice chess. Food…need food. And surf board racks. Preferrably not in that order. Done.

  • Wow! What a great family-project! The kids will learn a lot in the next weeks and month. It's great, that they are involved building their new home. I'm looking forward to see the results of your work!

  • I came from a family with 8 kids. Oh sure it’s nice when the kids are little but not nice as teenagers! I literally hated it big time. I swore I wouldn’t have anymore than two kids and boy I meant it. It’s not fair for parents to have a pile of kids in these times.

  • Great job with the kids helping in on the Conversion. I will be following the progress, because I intend to do a Roof Raise in 2018 also. You are going to reuse the the A/C & Heater units?

  • Great to have little Helpers, I can relate to that and Shane if I was going to do a build which I'm planning on doing it in the near future I personally would raise the whole entire roof including above the windshield… most the people I see always leave the roof intact above the driver seat probably because they don't want to mess with the Integrity of the windshield and door area… I think it kind of looks tacky myself but I would simply Cut Above the windshield and leave the metal frame intact and then weld some box tubing to the sheet metal above the windshield frame and erect similar to a pony wall on top of a foundation… out of square tubing to take up the gap on the raised roof that way you have a raised roof from the front to the back much larger and much more professional-looking and you don't have to duck down…. those are my thoughts… let me know your thoughts and what you intend on doing just kind of curious

  • Another Baby on the way? Jeez you Americans really do love your Family… Since i am German i am just comparing xD. Also great looking build, lot´s of space. I would sugest ripping out the entire Roofcover inside the bus and replacing it with a selfmade one since you then can ajust it to your Needs.
