Don't forget to share your opinions.

    Cya.

  • What if in the sekiro dlc you can pick up a bell from isshin's body in kuro's room and offer it to Buddha. Then you get to play as isshin and fight tomoe to stop her Shura. Great video!

  • Outstanding thoughts on the lore. I can't believe you managed to piece this all together so early in 2019.

  • MR BOB THE HOLLOW

    – persimmon description “ persimmons become blood, blood becomes rice” “this may be of help to one short of blood”
    – Rice description “rice spilled from the child of rejuvenation “
    – You can literally give the girl a persimmon so that she can bless you with her bountiful rice. So it seems the persimmons description can be taken quite literally. You give her a persimmon. She turns the persimmon to blood. Then she turns the blood into rice.
    – Just some random trivia to add to your fine video (:
    – Ps . The snake hearts connections to persimmons might mean something more seeing as she turns persimmons into rice. Not sure what that would be though lol

  • For some reason I’m just not as interested in the lore of the fountain head palace as I am to the rest of the game.

Like so many ppl think and want DLC for Tomoe and Takeru, whereas I’d like more info on the history of the sculptor/Emma/ isshin/ and their connection to DOGEN. Dogen seems to be everywhere yet we know so little about him, and he’s much more connected Ashina and much less to the fountain head palace.

Any idea why in the shura ending the sword that wolf picks up glows black like the other mortal blade?

  • This is such a great video. I just adore how you convey and talk about so many topics in just one video, but still connected to each other. This is something many "lore hunters" should do, in their video!

By the way, arrived at this point, there are two questions that cross my mind.
The first one is about the centipedes. What are they? My previous idea was that they are the result of drinking stagnant water of the fountainhead. Basically, the water that reach the grounds stagnates and whoever drinks them, gain immortality, but even the worm that reside inside them. The reason of why the ones who drinks this water doesn't become like the nobles derives by the fact that this is not the actual pure water that we can retrieve from the Palace; this is just the stagnant water that accumulates where the Guardian ape sits.
I'm still working on this theory, though.
The second question is: how a Divine Heir actually born? From which kind of phenomenon these kids inherited the power of the Dragon's heritage? Is hereditary or depends on other, supernatural factors? And how the Hirata are involved into this (since Kuro seems to belong to the clan Hirata)?

About Tomoe being the first Shura, until an hypothetical DLC doesn't add other new informations, this will be my favourite lore theory ^^ I like the connections here!
In the end, I have another question, but it's more related on descriptions: where could I retrieve japanese descriptions' original texts? I would like to read them, for read the actual script of the game and don't base my theories on mistranslations xD is there on internet a possible japanese wiki for Sekiro where I can find these descriptions?

  • The Divine Dragon looks like Seath in the intro of DS1, sitting on a pile of his dead race.

  • Do you have a link to the music you use in the intro of your videos.
Great lore videos by the way!
