FYI, I just finished a comment, but when I went to add an 'emoji', it rerouted me to another 'membership' page which then ''LOST'' the entire text of the comments. [not happy, would have put Sad emoji, but did not want to lose a message again.] [sad] This has never happened to me before [emoji] anywhere else and it was NOT pleasant. Anyhow, it was about your ''out-takes'', but not just about this bull. I LOVED the video, NOT at all happy about the other B.S.
Acid is used to clean and brighten the bare aluminum truck wheels and tanks. Not required, nor would I personally use it, for an RV clean.
Hope he got a fat tip?
I have been weeing others that use the Wash Wax All product. I know your 5th Wheel is probably full body paint, do you know if it is compatible with Vinyl accent stickers?
Thank you for your video regarding truck washes. I have a 45 ft Entegra anthem Diesel Pusher and I was not sure about truck washes until I just watched your video. I will now check out the blue beacons when I'm on the road. I will also stay away from Mom and Pop truck washes after seeing what they did to your RV…. Thank you guys for what you do as a fellow rver we appreciate it!
I just need to clean my conversion van and it won't fit through the standard carwash, but I think a truck wash might be overkill! I enjoyed your explanation of all the options you tried for your rigs, as well as the handy tips about dryer sheets and alcohol. My 2 kitties travel with me, and I know the pressure washer probably terrifies them at the diy carwash. 🤷 You probably have the cleanest setup on the road 😁 You should definitely get a credit/freebie for the free advertising (except for the first place, they're probably not going to get as much business 😳)😁
Thanks for all your great videos. I know this is an old video. Do you still use the wash-wax all kit or have you gone to something new?
for bugs cyclecare 33 works on motorcycle and RV Truck
It's up to $68 😏 Inflation is hitting everything. I really appreciate all of your wisdom. There's no way I could do this without YouTube and channels like yours!! I love you guys!!
Good one
Thanks for the sap removal tip! Have had spots on my white King Ranch Super Duty for over 2 years. Hand sanitizer took them right off! Thanks!!!!
Thanks for the video, I am about 15 min from Everglades RV Park in Miami. Will add Chris and Nancy detailers to my list.
If rv is very dirty does this work
Thanks for this video, we use Blue Beacon for the overall wash but am ready to pull the trigger on the kit. I use a cup of Murphy’s Oil Soap in a bucket of hot water for bugs. Dryer sheets scratch
Older post, but I’m curious if you still use this method Chad? Also is this your primary method to wash your camper? I’m toying with the idea of getting a compact pressure washer and a DI system to rinse, but this seems far quicker and cheaper.
Blue Beacon
I don’t like truck washes because you more often than not can’t open the slides and the sides and top of the slides don’t get clean!
$400 was cheap.
Love this video. some great ideas, Plus you guys are soo awesome, love they way you interact with each other and love the outtakes.
those were straight brooms! lol
Hello Chad, My question is how you keep your slide-out rubber gaskets clean, and do you treat them with anything to keep the rubber soft?
I used two different Blue Beacon stops, one in Salt Lake City $70 and the other in Denton, Texas $60 (DFW Metro Mess) and was pleased both times. I cannot for the life of me figure what the difference in price was but both wash crews did a fine job. We waited for an hour in line at each stop but didn't mind at all, since we're retired we're not in any particular hurry. Blue Beacon definitely will get my business from now on. I got the RainX both times and I've been pretty happy with the results.
Thanks for checking out the different methods. Great advice! Since you rig is full paint, would you recommend nothing different for those of us with decals? Same advice? Thanks again!
OMG they where using FLOOR brushes
Always ran my big trucks thru blue beacon for years. The acid they use on the aluimn but i owned my peterbilt so everything was polished. No Acid…
"Normal microfiber" means low quality. Spend the money on edgeless, high quality Microfiber towels from Griots Garage (personal fav) Chemical Guys, etc. An auto parts store isn't the place unless they carry those brands.
I just suscribed to your channel. Thanks for all the tips. I am going through the videos learning how to better care for my RV. The tool one is great, I convinced my wife to let me buy more tools as a result of your recommendations BTW, on electornic door lock video, I would have paid admission to see Phil stuff Stacy through the window. Too funny.
My neighbor has a full paint job & had his ceramic coated with 3 coats, expensive yes but mantaince is super super easy.
Lol y’all are funny, love the clips at the end.
The best bug cleaner you will ever use is Jax Wax Bugzapper!
That just made my skin crawl watching those brushes.
Help. I can not find the kit to order this stuff to clean my fifth wheel, Please give me the link if you don't mind.. I need all of it before winter thanks to you guys, and Tera you are so cute.
Is it proper to tip the folks at blue beacon, if so, how much?
Nice to see someone really take care of the paint 👊🏼
do you use it on the rims of the RV? Have you tried the Aero Cosmetics rubber care for the tires, I love that stuff. Another great wash that doesn't require a hose just 2 buckets of water is Griots garage rinsless wash and wax.
You should try Chemical guys quick detailer
Just bought the Wax All. haven't used it yet
I have been looking for something to clean my rv so much easier since washing my rv takes so much time. Does this spray wash work on windows? Or do you need to clean the windows separate?
Curious….you didn’t see any fine scratches? Generally there is a layer of dust on the surface that could scratch. Would you use this after driving through rain? Thanks for all the info you deliver and in such a great way.
We started taking our 2021 Keystone Montana to Blue Beacon and they have done a great job.
Bugs ‘N All from Amazon is the best thing I’ve found for getting rid of what I call Elfrida bugs. Elfrida is in the middle of the agriculture area in Cochise County and they have bugs made of super glue!
Mr. Clean eraser pads work great on cleaning Awnings
wash wax all is a joke. It will leave streaks and a film all over your rv. do NOT use wash wax all. i am a detailer and this product is a rip off scam.
ya, just do it , lol….i use a product called CU4 , fastwax.com , on my drag race car , goldwing , and pickup , and only on the front of motorhome and windshield , they have kits to do interior and tires too , the wax cleaner will take road tar off , and really good on bugs , but i will try your brand , normally i use a half full 5 gal pail of water and meguires wash and wax , and soap RV down a bit at a time , then squeegee it off with a silicone squeegee , my is not black , that is a problem for showing swirl marks , my brown toned rig is very forgiving , my race car and pickup are black and very dark , there is usually at least a gallon of water left over . Blue beacon has done my rig several times and i am impressed with them for the price .
checking out your video I just purchased a small class C I too am an Indian owner if you ever wanna check out very cool Indians check out Hollister indian great dealership in Hollister California
How does the dry wash work on bugs?
The acid will turn polished chrome dull white. However beware alot of blue beacons reclaim/recycle their water so you may be getting an amount of chemical regardless.
