Ebikes are perfect for touring around cities like Chico, California! Whenever we venture into cities to see their attractions we always get out our folding electric bicycles. They are so much more convenient and fun than navigating cities in our huge truck!

Today’s adventures first take us to the Bidwell Mansion State Park, an elegant and opulent estate that has stood since 1868. General John Bidwell and his wife Annie Bidwell lived here since it’s construction until the end of their lives.

After the 1 hour guided tour through the mansions 12,000 square feet and 26 rooms we hopped back on our ebikes and buzzed over to the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company for a guided tour through their facility. I had never had a Sierra Nevada beer so I was excited to see what I had been missing!

Another 1 hour guided tour explained the history of the company, the brewing process, and the equipment/machines they use to get the job done. The tour culminated with a free tasting of 4 of their famous beers – Pale Ale, Otra Vez, Tornado, and Narwhal. You know we left with a 6-pack of our favorite!
