The Florida Keys are unique in every way. Just getting there is stunning with the narrow bridge hovering over the teal blue water for so many miles. And then there are the roosters walking the streets downtown, Hemingway’s six-toed cats and nightlife that feels like Las Vegas. But if you’re not into the party scene, like us, there are plenty of other things to do such as visit the Southernmost Point Bouy and Mile Marker 0. You can take a boat or plane to the Dry Tourguas National Park or hit the Farmers Markets, which is one of the best in our opinion. If the Florida Keys is not on your RV travel list, consider adding it!

  • Oh my gosh!! I just found ya'll this morning and I can't stop watching! It's Saturday and I should be doing stuff and here I sit! You are in Key West now, but earlier you were in Asheville, NC. That's where I live! Ya'll could have come over for supper and sweet iced tea! Your video's are wonderful and I love that you take us along on your excursions. Also love the tours of the different "campers/RV's". Thanks for sharing. Ya'll be safe and I will keep watching!

  • "I love when history comes to life through our travels"…and your money. Minor caveat…Most people can't afford (and are fortunate enough) to just "book a flight to the Dry Tortugas for a couple of hours", lounge and play on a beach, go snorkeling and then fly back as if they just bought McDonald's.

  • That was a beautiful video of Key West I like the house tour that they have. And I thought that Dry Tortuga was a very Nation Park to visit, I didn't know that it was the least visited one. Thought that was up in Michigan out in the water as well.

  • I lived on the keys for a year, traveling by motorcycle, (Triumph) and living in a tent, feeding on fish we caught ourselves – we only visited Kew West for a day, because $$$. It was heaven that whole year, every single day! This was in 1970. We knew the whole string of islands would never be the same again – we knew we were blessed to have that experience, and I've treasured the memories ever since.

  • Great video, enjoyed it immensely. Key West is great, I've been there too. Actually, I was almost born there. Missed it by two weeks, but lived there my first year. My father was stationed there in the Navy in 1953. Imagine what the place looked like back then! I am a Florida native and resident, been all over the world, but always have had sand in my shoes and salt water in my veins. Thanks for doing such a great job!

  • I try to get down to key west once a year. Ft. Jefferson is definitely on the bucket list, but so far I have been put off by the oost. Plenty of other things to do in the Keys.

  • I have visited Key West three times. Each time I did a water jump (parachute) with a subsurface (SCUBA) Infil of beach. Thankfully after insert & training had plenty of time to sight see. Love the Keys.

    And, I love your vids. They help me live vicriously thru you. I'm 100% disabled and can no longer travel. Thanks for taking me along with you.

    I see you are in Destin in my next vid to watch. I grew up there. Love the FL Panhandle; still have family there.
