  • I worked for ARCO about 40 years ago. Peak Oil was openly discussed. I have watched alternate energy since I worked there. Nothing has received the US government $$$$$ that fossil fuels have received. Fossil fuel companies purchased alternate energy patents for decades in order to supress them. No surprise that British Petroleum was an early maker of solar panels. But there is no doubt that fossil fuel companies made sure that nothing could replace fossil fuels.

  • Sorry, but the 'peak oil' arguments are garbage. Oil reserves are calculated on the oil that can be extracted AT THE CURRENT PRICE and can, still, be profitable. If you, say, double the price of oil the amount of reserves goes up exponentially. We will run out of a need for oil, long before we run out of oil.

  • energy has been running out of fossil fuel for 50+year. We, earth, have been going to run out in 20 years. I am fully support nuke power.

  • I am worried a roving gang will come and cause issues in my rural area. they would lower the gang population.

  • The US has ample shale oil and enough natural gas for decades of energy independence. IT’s political that we don’t access and use it

  • Great video. Common sense, and reality. Well done as usual. Thanks.

  • How much energy do you think all the colliders use??😮 What is their true purpose? Are they strategically placed to help our planet during the pole swap? 🤷‍♀️

  • The world's energy problems is reflected in the amount of wars that are going on. We're all fucked

  • Natural gas price is falling through the floor and this is in a cold snap.

  • And how do we prepare for nukes? America has a good supply of energy and everyone wants it. So we have to rely on our God.

Jesus asked us to do only a few things in order for us to stand in His day. One is to arm ourselves so God will preserve and protect us. He gives complete instructions, just no one seems to seek His wisdom.

It starts in Deut.6:8-9 where we receive The Ten Commandments upon our head and hand. In the Prophets we are given more, like our heart, and the N.T. follows through with our breastplate, belt and feet, etc..

If we just use the O.T. we miss a lot, same with the N.T.. God is both The Father and The Son and we should obey both.

Anyways it all cannot be explained in one post so go and do The Word, don't just read it. Do whatever He has prepared you to do as you read it. If there is something you can't do such as priesthood, make armour, etc. maybe we then join together and figure it out.

Remember God gave Israel His law. Given to a nation, not a single person. So none of us can do it all by ourselves we need each other. Join in Jesus that we might fulfill the will of God.

Those of the faith of God, it is time to express that faith in our deeds. They say talk is cheap, action speaks louder than words. Get busy and stop waiting on God, Jesus' return, Trump whatever. If you want to have both the law and testimony then keep both the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount, that you carry, keep, cling, dwell in the voice of God, both the law and testimony.

Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

We either go back to God and learn to 'keep' Commandments as given to us in Deut.6:8-9, or we allow the world to overcome us. Remember the words of Jesus. Let not the world overcome you.

    Romans 12:21
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. God bless.

  • The energy crisis is being created by the rich.. there's plenty of oil, coal and natural gas..

  • Renters do not have the options to install solar or add insulation to the home. I think moving to s place that is cooler in the summer might save my life. Sometimes it is over 110 degrees here in the summer.

  • It seems to me that oil companies should be investing in solar and wind; they certainly have the money to do it! They know the oil will run out; what better way to stay in existance than to invest in the next viable energy source? Oh, wait, they're greedy and only worry about the dollar they can get today, not caring about what their grandchildren have to deal with tomorrow. Dollars over lives; so typical.

  • I believe oil will get more expensive the harder or more difficult it is to drill it. So its cost will get higher before we run out too.

  • There is a 100% solution, and only one. Conservation. We waste the vast majority of our energy, and water. No matter the energy source, squandering it is not functional. Isn't Sloth one of the deadly sins? Shouldn't all the Christians be fully behind conservation efforts? Hypocrisy, karma, and mental illness will be our armageddon.

  • You only scratched the surface in discussing different qualities of fossil fuels and how many if the most desired types of natural gas, for example, are getting far more scarce than the overall global supply of natural gas. You could easily turn this into a series. Nate Hagens recently had a guest that discussed this concept. I think you could distill that down for a wider audience.

  • Far to many have their heads in the sand. The hopium problem is getting dangerous to all.

  • Among the throng of paranoid or anxiety laden voices among prepper personalities, I know that someday when Kris's (CityPrepping) calm, reasonable tone finally changes to panic it is then that I will know events have moved from bad to truly catastrophic. While the pandemic, supply chain break down, economic down turn, the war, etc has been really bad, it has not qualified as "catastrophic" historically speaking & I pray, I hope that things never do.

  • Not sure if this is allowed, so no offense if deleted. I am looking for a modern solar battery pack like a Jackery or some other that is broken. I have 1 but I want to take one apart and see inside and don't want to do it on a working device

  • "move away from an unlimited mindset" that's a great line … unfortunately it's what the 1974 report of the club of Rome "Limits to growth" meant, before I was even born. Welcome to the world of Richard Heinberg, "the party is over". Now the f…king boomers ask us to scale down, because they could not get themselves to do it, when atmospheric CO2 was below 400ppm … oh, and we should still pay their pensions … I'm in the know since years, and I'm so sick of it all … still I have to tell my kids that their grandma's and grandpa's have stolen their future, and this is not about energy or biodiversity-loos alone, its about climate-change as well.

  • Much of the oil remaining calculation, no doubt relies on the Ghawar petrofer under Saudi Arabia. Even as vast quantities are extracted, its remaining reserves are stated as static or increasing. We know that has to be a fiction, by the government, for its own purposes.

In addition, they have been using secondary recovery methods, for decades. Secondary oil recovery ends at a "cliff", not a gentle downward curve. Don't be fooled.

  • Can anyone recommend a good oil lantern?

  • Crude oil is a naturally occurring fossil fuel – meaning it comes from the remains of dead organisms.
It will only become finite when everything on the planet stops dieing.

  • One of the greatest systemic failures in the USA is the concentration of population in large cities. It was done to provide labor for industry, but resulted in concentrations of population that are toxic to the environment. Populations spread out into the (now-abandoned) small towns would help solve many of the issues we currently deal with, especially violence, crime, mental illness, and resource management.

  • 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

  • 80 years huh and then everything from chapstick to motor oil, lubricants to plastics to gasoline goes bye bye or is insanely expensive due to extraction costs. Bring in the scoops.

  • Anyone out there canning should clean empty jars and refill with water. No use leaving them empty when I can have extra drinking water when there is no power to my well.

  • After the Texas Ice Storm, I was looking into solar, many homes in my area can afford it – not me. But after seeing the limitation I was wondering about several small "wind generators". Is there such a thing as small "wind" turbines that would fit in the back yard (or front yard) I am in the city limits but do not have a HOA. The house was built in the 50's. Pier and beam constriction. I have low electrical needs.

  • I been wanting a solar generator for my fridge, freezer chest and maybe plugging in small appliances if needed ( I don't care if it powers whole house)…..but sadly my husband is anti solar 😔

One time I went 2 weeks without power, thankfully it was in the spring if it was winter I would been screwed

  • Highly recommend Fossil Future as a good book to read on the energy subject. We should all be working toward having our home be independent from a grid and able to operate on its own. On the individual home level, sources like solar and wind can work. On a societal level, they are a laughable waste of money and time. Nuclear and hydro are probably the best for grid power. Fossil fuels for machine power.
