  • I think that a $3 roll of white reflective tape would be better and easier than painting the steps.

I used it on my inside door handle so we would stop grabbing the screen door when closing. Also, other motorists could be alerted to an open door at night.

Actually a light should come on over the steps anytime the door is open
… just like it does when you open a car door.

  • That hook is also perfect for dumpster diving.

  • I still can't believe people are still buying water filters. The propylene glycol is already in the tank. Don't drink from your toilet or any RV tank. If water has been stored in it for some time , the algae growth will make it stink. I rather drink from a faucet in Flint Mi.

  • Best tip was the wiper protection.

I think you only have to cut it half way… or use pipe insulation and you don't have to cut it.

  • A lock washer locks the nut. If you put the washer behind the plastic, it can't lock the nut.

  • just an fyi when you were using the channel locks there were backwards

  • Use a step bit to enlarge holes, particularly in plastic. PS Use your soldering iron to shrink the heatshrink. haha the LEd Blue for poo. Filter basket stolen from Rods Swiss Dairies …whoops The compass trick is inspired 😀

  • so i should listen to a person who starts with a wood bit, then a metal bit then finishes with a wood bit again that are all standard and his parts are metric. LOL

  • Neat idea, I'm worried you didn't leave enough extra wire to pull lens off to change original bulb

  • Why do all of that work when you can buy LED bulb screw in screw out too easy

  • Why just change one led bulb? Replace them all Very affordable on Amazon.

  • not to be critical, in doing the hooks on the door, tape on your drill bit for depth into the wood is best. Also, a level with pre-drilling into the white wood first and making marks on the door would save you time.
with the wipers, would black pipe insulation work and look less noticable?
To reach your supplies in the downunder compartment how about those handy, dandy grabbers for reaching things in upper cabinets at home? Great idea for the epoxy! Maybe put holder on the poles holding you ladder. That way you Enjoy it while using your rv and won't ever drive away because you will see it in your rear view mirror!

  • step drill bit would be best…. but good job brother

  • Might want to say what kind of paint you're using. Also, you should use glow-in-the dark paint and mix some anti-slip sand into the paint.

  • Foolish to use butt connectors when you have a soldering iron and supplies sitting there! Trouble free connection! A Unibit works best for drilling
    thin plastic and sheet metal.

  • Yeah OPPPPPSSSSS 26:28 that bottom screw went right thru the other side. The white stairs i think is a bad idea. for 20 bucks or so why not do it the better way run Led stripes to the stairs. White paint is just going to chip get dirty and at night youre not going to see it any how since it reflects no light.

  • Better off using a Unibit and a sanding stick, a dowel with a piece of sand paper

  • You should not use drywall screws for mounting heavier items, The steel is subject to cracking .

  • Great video, but one suggestion: use time lapse shooting to record lengthy processes. We don't need to wait through the whole thing after the idea is already clear. Just show the method and the result, and perhaps only the sped-up process to see the progression. This way your demos can be made more efficient and less time consuming for the viewer.

  • I'd be concerned with those new wires being so close to that incandescent light.

  • stick a screw driver in the oil filter and turn

  • IMHO, seems kind of silly to me to reinstall the light fixture BEFORE testing it. Flip the switch. If it works, install it. If it doesn't work, disconnect and check.
