• My hoa is horrible they make my wife and I want to sell cause we can’t stand it we had a trash can by the front door cause we were cleaning they took a picture and sent a 100 ticket with it when we were using it and sent me another picture of a trash can that is on my neighbors side of the house but sent me a ticket and the list of other stuff is just to long to list lol hoas suck and will never do it again

• I think you guys are a little clueless…if I was retired and living in an RV park I wouldn’t want someone’s grown kid living in a shed either. It’s their sandbox…if you don’t like the rules then move on down the road.

• I was raised in trailers the majority of my childhood. My father worked For CB&I . 40 trailers would fill up a park and empty it in a day. Shutdowns were every 6 months in refineries. Just a plug to travel trailers and trailer parks. Folks reading this. Uneducated and trash don't live in a trailer parks. You can thank trailer park for giving you the ability to fill up your tank in your car. Your lumber for your house deck and your lighting and air conditioning. Stop for a minute and think befor you demonize people who live in trailer parks. Now gettingg back to this video. I've lived in enough parks to see many rules some good and some bad. Nosy neighbors and such. But in your case you are staying in San Destin Florida. This panhandle is full of money makers and shakers. Your just a guest and they don't want long term renters. Especially the new York crowd who moved there and and brought their politics with them. 10 years ago in that community was like Tommy Hilfiger meets Jeff foxworthy. Now its Snobville. Snotty managers and HOA parks are running off long term renters and making it hard for property owners to survive. It's called Condo building ! Yes and you just experienced it first hand. It wasn't about you. You really are insignificant to them. It's about forcing the owner of that spot to sell out. And he's the target.
  I live in Panama city about 1/2 hour drive on hwy98 from your location. Lived here for 27 years. I own a business in PC. And take it from me. The smiling faces are not friends. Those are convenient acquaintances to get what they need. True friends are what you knew in highschool with and got long term relationships. Both towns San Destin and panama city are trying to run off all the military folk who settled here. They have removed war planes from pedestals. Hidden War memorials behind trees in Parks you can't access without approval like Pier Park in Panama City Florida. These liberals are moving in and taking over. You think your rent is high. Try this on for size.
  After hurricane Michael hit Panama city 90% of all infrastructure was damaged. Apartment complexes office Buildings homes you name it everything took damage. But the new York land owners came in and swallowed up the properties and tripled the rent on still damaged lease properties. This is 2021 hurricane Michael hit in 2018 October the 10th at 8:00 a.m.. people in Panama City Florida are still recovering from hurricane Michael to date. Add in covid-19 and it's been the double whammy that's put people out of business. Created Mass suicides and just destroyed what was once a beautiful military town with beautiful residents. And turn it into a snob money grab. I highly suggest that you take your money and spend it elsewhere in the state. You can have a vacation in Las Vegas far cheaper than you can hear. But this is no place to raise a family because of the drugs moving up from South Florida. And the crime coming in from Mobile Alabama. It's just not worth it. if you don't believe me check what a season ticket is for Disney world.
  RV parks and theme parks were for families that couldn't travel overseas. It was supposed to be something that was reasonably priced where the average folk could enjoy a good time. Those days are gone. The people who live here will smile and shoot the finger at you behind your back when you walk away. I can't give you any more truth to this than you see right now. The couple in this video said that the man they met 3 years ago they helped out and he did not remember them. That's because you were convenient. And that's how these people treat each other around here. It's very ironic once you get to meet them you are realized that's not southern hospitality. It's Northern snobaitality. It's FU this and FU that. And it's loud and disrespectful. Why am I still here and not back in Texas ? Once I opened my business here 21 years ago things were different. I could stand in the middle of hwy 98 in October and not see a car for hours. Now it's a traffic jam. 3 weeks ago I saw a young black girl stick her finger out the window and shoot the finger as she was traveling across four lanes of traffic to make a left hand turn. I noticed the Illinois license plate. Dang near caused a crash in all lanes. This is what's moved here. And the attitude with it. I don't even go to the beach anymore with my wife. It's not safe. We took some car inner tubes blew them up and drifted the beach for about 100 yards till the waves pushed us in. We just so happened to drift up on an area full of black people which didn't bother me a bit. But it sure did them. We were told to paddle back out and keep drifting. I told him I live here you assholes get back in your cars and go home. They stood there and just stared at me like a cows in a field. Later I found out it was black spring break. Imagine that rolling into your town and telling you to leave. Sorry I may be a transplant. But I'm still texan by birth. Before you think I'm a racist my wife is Mexican-American. So loose that thought.

  If you want a great experience in RVing long term rent in a trailer park try further in. Yeah some man my have his engine on his front porch but I can guarantee you he's much more human than the scabs that are in the Destin HOAs. The type of people you will meet in trailer parks are mostly super nice and will be remember for years to come and will welcome you back in those trailer parks when you decide to come back. I'm sorry for the rough post but I have to tell the truth. I am not a tourist here I'm a citizen and I pay my taxes here and I own a business. I'm not saying don't visit but I'm saying is don't make your life here. You want your children to grow up solid with lifelong friends. You don't want them to grow up with no loyalty built within them. Have a great day thanks for a wonderful video. • You have a Karen and a HOA, they like to push their weight. Take pictures and confront them. I wouldn’t put up with that. Glad y’all asked the owner. Pull out the rules and ask them to show you. That is why I hate HOAs. People are at their worst during Covid. I am lmao, pettiness. Did y’all confront those people.

• The owner of your lot needs to sue the HOA for harassing his tenants they don't have the right to come to you they should go to him! Their on the board they need to understand the board hasn't the power they think it does. HOA Karen's Suck!

• Don't do like I did in a privately owned camp ground. If you don't like the manager's/owner's attitude and character, just look for another park, or kowtow to his abuse for the time necessary. This guy had a weird sense of humor, so I behaved in the same way back to him, and both our egos ended up being hurt. He complained to his long time tenant friends in the park, and I ended up being shunned and picked on by the park's gestapo. Luckily I never need to stay there any more, and he doesn't have to tell me that the park is full if I try to get a space.
