Have you tried NW FL? We live in Bonifay and there is a park here, right off of I-10.
I couldn't begin to tell you how blessed my sibling was when they bought a lot being auctioned off along the river. The best $2000 ever spent. Purchased a used camper off a friend & parked it there. Hooked up to water, septic, electric, built a porch with a roof over it up to the camper. Had a fire pit, picnic table, gas grill, reclining swing with a canopy you could sit or lay down on & take a nap in the afternoon. It was Heavenly. Even had a storage shed. The years of precious memories we cherish. Today the lots sell as recreational, $79,000 & up. No lie. 36 years, passed on to the kids in hopes they enjoy it that much longer. I'll never forget how upset this other neighbor was because they didn't get invited. We were raised if you didn't want any trouble don't invite it in. We were not obligated to invite, or entertain this nosey neighbor. The reason to get away. We've worked hard for our money earning near minimal wages. We owned what we had. I could accommodate a rv, I just don't like being taken advantage of, & I'm not cleaning up after others. People don't take care of things that don't belong to them. Hope you get you RV straightened out. You've had so many problems with it, we only had to replace a refridgetrator, & fill up the 2 propane canisters.

Red Oaks RV Resort Bushnell, FL. about an hour from the Tampa Fairgrounds. It's an over-55-year-old resort. tons of amenities. Very reasonable rates too.
How about going a little north, say up to SC? That's my fear of full timing.

We are at Yankee Traveler in Largo, Fl. for six months. There are six or seven open FHU sites, but not sure what the availability is. Maybe worth checking.
