From what year did Airstream start including the water pressure and filter?
great Video Thank you!
Great insights, thanks for the share!
The sewer pipe as you called it is otherwise known as the stinky slinky. FYI.
Ewww, you touched those poop bricks!! I guarantee people tap their hoses on those bricks after pulling it out of the hole!!
Not that one way is more correct than the other, but we would hook up the Portible water to the source and just run a little water through it before hooking it up to the trailer. Is it necessary? Probably not but it does get any funk washed out before you hook it up to the trailer
Well done! Lots of specific guidance. Have you considered weight distribution hitch storage? Check out HITCHPORT Hitch and Spring Bar Mounts
Just bought a 1987 Sovereign….letβs do this.
Lovely chick, should be dating this Brit! π
Well done. Thank you!
What, exactly does the water filter… filter?
Is this even camping?
Screw the sewer head into the ground outlet. It won't jump out at you.
Do you leave the valves open while you are attached to the sewer? Or do you only open them when you are going to 'flush' them out and empty them?
Someone gave me a great tip for keeping the sewer hose in the ground fitting. (where you put bricks). Get an old pair of tube socks and fill one with gravel, secure with a cable tie, insert it into the other sock, secure with another cable tie. You now have a "sand bag" to drop on the hose. It's heavy, flexible, and cheap! Keep it where you store your gloves, etc.
Great video – we just purchased our first RV yesterday – a Classic 30 and are looking forward to traveling with it. But this is a great tip on hooking up, especially for first timers.
Very nice video – and your airstream is a beauty. Dig your fancy overalls too : )
Thank you! I think I could actually do this by myself.
You should put on gloves before you touch that sewer hose. I would not recommend handling that sewer hose (removing it from the bumper storage bay) with out gloves on.
Excellent instruction! Thanks!
Excellent video — the best instruction I've seen on this topic!
