HOW TO HOOK UP YOUR TRAVEL TRAILER + 10 THINGS WE CHECK BEFORE TOWING// Fulltime RV Family of 5

BEFORE WE TOW WALK AROUND CHECKLIST:
1. Look over your hitch + make sure everything is attached and hooked up properly. Remember 2 sets of eyes are better than one!
2. Check all the doors, windows, and latches.
3. Make sure stabilizers are up.
4. Make sure awning and slides are in.
5. Do your “hand strength test” to make sure nothing will come off!
6. Make sure your chocks are out ( and parking brake is on until you leave).
7. Make sure lights are on and blinkers work.
8. Make sure all stairs are in.
9. Make sure all dump valves are closed.
10. Check your tires (we use our tire pressure gauge for this).
