HOW TO SAVE MONEY: LIVE in an RV! MY BUDGET IS 70% LESS than in a house. Why, How & Where Explained.

Before I lived full-time in an RV, I had a job I hated and tons of bills. Now, 8 years later, I travel the United States full-time, am debt-free, have a remote job I love and wouldn’t change a thing.
Inflation and housing prices are making life tough for a lot of people. If I hadn’t stumbled across RV Life I never would have known being a digital nomad was an option! To help others, I’m starting a new video series called “HOW TO SAVE MONEY (AND BE HAPPY) BY LIVING IN AN RV.”
This is video #1 in the series.

  • My propane for a 29’ 5er was $300 a month in winter in 2020. And 2021. And 2022.
Buying at gas stations or a Dollar General.

  • Without a remote job it’s impossible
    Most jobs can’t be remote
Pls don’t try this without skills for a remote job
Or have a fixed income like a pension and interest from investments and SS

  • Thank you for this very informative video. Will you be covering:
    How to get your mail
How to find a doctor if needed when on the road? Thank you .

  • Do you have a Canadian RV liver counterpart. I will not leave Canada to do this until I have had a lot of experience. Please suggest if you know anyone. I am looking to stay within Ontario.

  • Just now viewing this video(my first time catching you) so I don't know if you have in your book or know that in places (Rv parks) you can work a few hours a day cleaning up the park for either reduced cost to stay or paycheck and still write or just enjoy the park 😉 thought I would mention it in case you hadn't explored that option 🙂

  • Thank you for separating the difference between the 3 vehicle expenses. I learned something. There's also personal expenses such as food, clothing and basic needs. There's also the tire fund and the vehicle maintenance and mechanical fund. There's postal and work supply expenses too. Water, laundry and truck wash. The cost of living in a fifth wheel is i.m.o. closer to 2300.00 a month give or take a 100 depending on where you're paying for basic needs. That's if you want to live comfortable and less stressed.

  • All RV Budgets differ. My budget is not nearly as much. Budgets depend on Income, Debt/Bills, Ect.

  • Took her almost 6 minutes to finally get into it, but it's a good watch if you skip the first 5 minutes

  • I've yet to see a RVer who can depict an accurate budget. No provisions for repairs and let's face it, RVs are money pits, especially if you cannot not even do basic repairs. Depreciation and it's worse if you are going through rigs like she is, on her 4th rig? Instead of budgets I'd like to see total expenditures for a given year which includes everything, down to the penny.
