  • I just found a leak in my camper this video came up first. Thanks! Also I just started repairs and totally related to the comment at the end haha

  • So helpful! Not sure if you already have a video on this but how do I seal the underside of a truck camper?! It's falling apart and all the info I've found on Google is very contradicting. Flex seal, bed liner, exterior house paint, aluminum, plywood, etc I just dont have a clue where to start. Love your channel, so much helpful info!!

  • Seams the are a few different product numbers, can you tell me which ones you are using? Thank you

  • Also in addition, time to time you need to take your old seal back down to scratch and apply new seal as if it was new as opposed to adding layer upon layer……denatured alcohol is good for cleaning as well (USE GLOVES!) best to do this on a day where it can set up for 24 hours as well.

Also another trick is use painters tape to place around the edges and if it does over flow you can remove the tape and it will look professional as well

  • Neatest way to Caulk, is to use painters tape. Makes a deadly straight seam.

  • Products used:
    -Goo gone
    -Caulking gun
    -ProFlex RV
    -Dicor Self Leveling Sealant

  • THANKS TAYLOR THAT HELPFUL….PAUL IN OTTAWA ONT. HAVENT BOUGHT YET

BUT LOOKING . SELL MY OLD RV STUFF FIRST….SO THANKS.

  • they don't seal the sides of windows, etc. bc they want to build cheap & fast πŸ˜‰

  • Lots of thumbs-up's! In fact, I also live in an Arctic Fox 🦊 990, so you know darned well that downloaded this video. Thanks 😊

  • A more time consuming way would be to mask the area off for some clean lines. Also spit works well for smoothing things out. At least in my experience with 2 part sealants used in aviation.

  • Do you seal below windows and side of door? I paid someone to seal my trailer , and claims theses areas don’t get done?

  • Hope you're still well Taylor! We miss you.

Just recaulked my truck camper the other day, definitely was in need!

  • Anyone use good ol' latex caulk? Inexpensive, smooths out with a wet sponge.

  • In your situation how often would you seal the whole rig . What is recommended for the walls and such to protect from sun and weather ect , thanks .

  • Why don’t Rv’s be manufactured waterproof?

  • Hey Taylor I love your videos. I am 3 years out from major brain surgery, your videos help me live. Hope to meet you one day. Anthony Weiburg

  • I would have put a bigger bead, and I would have taken off the old stuff, and I would put a screw in the end of the cocking tub, so it wouldn't leake out or dry up on you.

  • You do a great job on your videos. I also wish I know all that when me and my wife lived in our RV. that would have made things so much easier.

  • My wife and I just checked out a 2019 AF. Wow it was nice. Might be a bit out of our means at the moment. But WoW! She loved it.

  • I always spray water on the new caulk job and wipe once with my finger the water keeps the caulk from spreading

  • Nice video – good job πŸ‘

  • All that money and got to worry about leaks. Lance just make a good RV. Just imagine you buy for 45k and 2 years later sell for 15k in u r lucky…
