  • So, if you’re driving and want to keep the fridge on,do you keep the inverter on? I’d like not to use propane while traveling.

  • Thank you so much. I would have never known about the reset button.

  • Finally, Thank You! I watched 3 other videos looking for help, but only yours answered my questions!

  • I have a 2022 Rockwood mini lite 2513s. The inverter switch is showing on all the time I push the switch to cut it off but it shows on, I don’t know if the inverter is on or off. Do you think it is a bad switch or could it be a bad inverter?

  • Misinformation.
He says your 1,000W inverter draws 1,000W when you have no 110V load plugged in. WRONG: Some inverters have a small standby draw on the batteries when there is no-load on 110V, some actually switch into a very low-draw standby mode (almost Off and with an almost zero current draw from the batteries) when there is less than, say, a 5W load on the 110V. Then the automatically "come to life" when you connect your 110V load.
Either way there is either very small or almost no draw on the batteries when you have nothing connected to the 110V supply.

  • Our brand new 19FD inverter won't come on from the 'remote' button there by the couch. Pressing the button turns the LED on, but as soon as you release the button, it's off again, with no voltage in any outlet I tested. Confirmed the inverter works by removing the panel, checked the reset button on the bottom, then the manual 'on' button at the top of the inverter (supposed to be out for 'remote' on, which it was) which did turn on the unit, it was producing 114 volts (no fan in the unit was running) which was confirmed with voltmeter in all interior outlets. So I wonder what's up with that?

  • Greg, thank you for this video, I see where the reset button is, but is it accessed by removing a panel or accessed through an exterior storage space on the 19FD?

  • Very clear and helpful, thanks for posting!
