What Are RV WATER PRESSURE REGULATORS? Your RV water pressure is highly important. The water pressure coming out of a city water supply at campground sources can vary. It’s important to know your RV’s water pressure levels and use a rv water pressure regulator for RV when connecting to an outside source. RVs are equipped with plastic fittings, copper fittings and clamps, most of which can only withstand 40 to 50 PSI. If the water pressure from the city is higher than what the RV plumbing water system can withstand, there could be issues with leaking w/o a rv water pressure regulator.
It is always a good idea to test the water pressure before connecting to the city water fill at the campground. To do this you will need to purchase a water pressure gauge. Pressure gauges are can be found at local RV part stores, dealerships and other supply stores.
Screw the water pressure gauge directly onto the water source’s faucet and open up the water line. This will then give a reading of the water pressure coming out of the source. If it is at or above 40 PSI, you will want to put a water pressure regulator for RV onto the water hose before connecting your water system up to it.
Sometimes it is a good idea to put a rv water pressure regulator for RV on regardless of the reading. This is mostly because at a large campground the water pressure could rise as others disconnect from the city source.
The water pressure regulator for RV is connected to the faucet at the water source before the hose gets connected. Some higher end regulators have dials that can be adjusted based on the water pressure needs of your RV.
When camping it is important to know the water pressure at the campground and how to regulate it so you do not wake up to a wet floor in the morning.

$90? Geez how much profit do you tack on to these regulators? I bought one even better than the one you showed at Amazon for $28. Even came with Teflon tape and a small Flathead screwdriver. $18 for a low pressure regulator? Walmart has them for $8 and $12 for the high pressure. My goodness… you must REALLY have a family to feed. Also it'd help to show the products up close considering that's what the customer looks for when they go to buy an item. Don't just hold it up and say that we'll love it. Let's SEE it…
Can someone address the elephant in the room? Why are RVs sold without a regulator? Is the system designed to fail, or is it a marketing strategy?
