I paid the 55 bucks and got it on xbox one. It's been the only game, besides elden ring, that I've gotten my money's worth.
20$ bucks for an xpac is fine?? the game looking old doesn't make it easier for the devs aside from performance issues I guess? such a weird comment.
Dude the Fatwsworn DLC is like 10-12 hours of new gameplay in a entirely new region. It’s definitely worth the 20 dollars despite the game being old. They added a new DLC to treat people to something new after having a remastered version. Giving us something extra, I think it’s worth paying alittle money. 20 bucks is nothing, that’s like pocket change.
Diablo 2 original version was out for literally years and years before they eventually released the expansion to it with act 5. And when I say years later, I mean years later. Most people thought the game was just over with a cliffhanger that would never be answered . So I mean it’s not like unheard of for old games to get new content years and years later. Especially for a remastered version of the game.
How do you start it
Truthfully, I hope they completed to its full fruition which was to make it an MMORPG from when I read it was called project copernicus or Cerberus. It's been a while but I do remember reading it from Wikipedia. Great game and I'll always be magic and might champion for the win baby snap all over the battlefield and the blink of an eye blade and magic baby. If there's any other further content then I most definitely will be paying for that as well. I'm hoping for a new game all and all.
I bought Re-Reckoning on console when it launched, I bought the original on the 360 with all the dlc. Now I just bought Re-Reckoning again on steam with the DLC bundled for 17.99 steam summer sale. I hope I've done enough to encourage a sequel
It definitely is but onsidering what experience i get from the games that i play this days i might as well go for the 8 hours dlc cuse i finished the game at least 5 o 6 times and still sometimes try again even though i got shi ton of new games
fact is i enjoy reckoning far more than skyrim. the combat is very unorthodox
When re reckoning came out I remembered hearing about the dlc. Then I forgot about it, then I remembered the game again. The dlc is free with the re reckoning version I have
any games like this on ps4?
we will hit a point in gaming where even 100dollars will not buy us 10 hour of content, people are paying 20dollars for lootbox that add 0 content and last 5second,20dollars for a new map new things to do new quest new story item we need more dlc like this rather than pay 20dollars get this shinny blue sword effect then pay extra 60 to get the legendary one hit sword that goes with it
Fantastic game, without a doubt
Hi, noob question. Which main quest do i need to follow to beat the legitimate final boss/to start the Fatesworn DLC? As of now i have 3 list of main quest
1. The Hunters Hunted
2. Old Friends, New Foes
3. The Teeth of Naros
Pls answer. Thanks a lot!
I LOVE this game!!! The fact that they added a new dlc increases the chance of a sequel in the future!!
I got lucky and got the Fate Edition on G2A for 15 bucks, for the game and the new dlc that's a steal
I only really feel anything anymore playing indie and eurojank titles that try hard to do something different and imaginative. I'd rather scoop my eye out with a rusty spoon than play another garbage Ubisoft disaster like assassins creed or Farcry. Far cry. A game that at it's start was so good with how weird it went turning you into a lethal animal. Now just feels like the last 3 games are all the same game…….. Nothing new or fun about them. Same with assassins creed. No thanks. Valhalla looks exactly the same as oddysey and origins. Play one and you've played them all.
I remember playing games that made you figure them out. Worked your brain. Made you really think about your actions.
New Vegas
Morrowind
etc etc.
Games where you needed to listen to NPCs and Pay attention to the story to have any idea whats going on. Now most of these games are just. Heres a marker, go there and kill stuff then come back to this other marker since you probably forgot where you started. Where everything now scales to you level no matter where you go or when you get there.
I prefer Elden Rings open world. Where we get together in a group and discuss the crazy lore and constantly find a new secret to show each other. Where if you go to the wrong place without gear or a lot of skill you're going to be destroyed. No hand holding, no markers telling you where to go or how to get there and an awe inspiring moment around every corner along with the pure satisfaction of fighting a boss 30 times to finally win on the 31st and just wanna throw yourself a party.
I just want morrowinds world and mystery and RPG elements with Dark souls combat. Is that so much to ask for. Make me appreciate the world. Every NPC, Every road. Every sign. I can't tell you a single characters name from assassins creed other than Ezio and altier from back in the day.
Meanwhile I'll be remembering Ranni the witch and Radahan and Varre probably until I die.
And I'll never forget Mr. House and Yes Man. Then they made fallout four and again it was a worthless cookie cutter trying to follow the Ubisoft strategy making it impossible for you to fail and giving you no reason to care. Skyrim? Blow up the entire City. Who cares. Pay the fine and its all done. No worries at all.
Morrowind. Kill one wrong NPC "You've doomed the world, reload or continue persisting in this doomed place you created"
I miss when things felt like they mattered at least a bit. But devs seem to have just decided to remove failure as a freaking option and made the worlds not dangerous at all. I don't feel like I overcame anything in most of the games today. Its just a boring slog. Why are the corpos in Cyberpunk 2077 as easy to kill as the gangsters on the street? Difficulty in that game should be based on how much money the opponent has for tech. Not what level your character happens to be. Arasaka goons should destroy you at level 1. But no. Everyhting has to be winnable so the children don't feel like they might lose. I freaking hate it.
Thank god for Miyazaki and the souls games. Elden ring is the best open world game that's come out in 10 years.
I cant see how any person that praises a game like witcher 3, could possible dislike this game. Its got even more voice acting than witcher 3 does. The witcher 3 does have some good sidequests, but for every 1 good, theres 20 bad mundane ones. All im trying to say is, this game needs more love as it does what games like witcher does, and does alot better. The witcher 3 ripped out 95% of its rpg mechanics, while this game still feels like an rpg.
Still waiting for it to release on Switch. Says 2022.
KoA 2 when? We will be asking for another few decades
Level cap increased. Does that mean skill points too? 3 every level still?
Well regardless of if your opinion of the game is that you like the game or if it's just not your cup of tea there one thing that we can all agree on. And that's that: Ellen Was Right.!
The answer is no….
I wish they actually took the time to really remaster the game and not just throw some shading on an old template also multiplayer would've been pretty cool also big scale wars could take place that u are actually on the battlefield would be the shit as well
It's funny that you mention they don't make games like KOA anymore. I think for the most part, that's true. But I can't but feeling like some games are at least inspired by it. Greedfall is a game that comes to mind. That game feels like a mix between the Dragon Age games, and of course, Kingdoms of Amalur. I believe this is most noticeable in the exploration and some of the mechanics (combat being relatively similar, for instance). I wish we could get a proper remake of KOA. It's a masterful game in its own right, and I'm excited to try out the new DLC. From what I've seen, it looks incredible. Unfortunately, I think the love and care put into the initial game would be lost. As shallow as the remaster is, I think it's just the best way to play this classic gem.
Game was initially under the shadow of Skyrim when it released. had it released earlier or later it would have done so much better. I'm glad it was remaster. Price tag is decent if you never experienced it which I'm guess alot of people havent due to skyrim and witcher 3. It's easily 80+ hour game with amazing combat and with the expansion making it may be 90-100 hours. that's really good.
Biggest goof in gaming history is no one giving this game the attention it deserves
So back in the PS2 (and before) days, I wasn't into RPG's at all. Fast forward to 2012/2013, we got this game on PlayStation Plus for PS3 and I decided to give it a shot…I'm a trophy hunter so I wanted to Platinum something different. I ended up LOVING this game (and getting the Platinum and 100%) and it birthed my love of RPG's in general. So when the remaster came out it was a no brainer to replay…unfortunately the Fate Edition (this DLC was "free") was digital only, and I wanted this on disc, so I had to wait. Now I'm a little disappointed in the price…I'm likely going to wait for a sale on it, if I can get it for $10, I'll be happy with that.
I have to say though, it's kinda crazy to see how they made a DLC YEARS after a games release, and graphically it looks like it never left the 7th Generation. I was honestly expecting something more graphically….modern, which would be a huge disconnect from the rest of the game but would also give us a kind of sneak peak as to what a sequel could look like.
I got the main game free for my ps5 so I happy to support the game with a $20 dlc plus a new game would be awesome if they decide to do it.
Just learned of this game coming back with a DLC after having played it back when it came out and several times since then. Super hyped to play it again, it's one of all my all time favorite games. That being said, it did feel kind of shitty to have to buy re-reckoning as well as the expansion content, and not even get like 10 bucks off or something for already owning the original game. I don't mind paying it though, because I would love nothing more than seeing KOA 2.
This game just needs multiplayer 👏🏼
Love this game, hope they came a sequel
Thanks for the reminder that this dlc has been released as I was looking forward to more content for this fantastic game!
It's totally worth it. The new zone is so much fun.
I got the game with psn so ill gladly pay for an expansion, used to love it when i was younger i played it for hours back in my home town in egypt
I recently bought the "remastered" version at a discount price, and I'm gonna do the same to the dlc, unless dlc's don't go on discount but I can wait…
So is this on the Switch yet? The dlc that is
Had alot of fun playing this DLC, but came to youtube looking for workarounds to the dissapearing enemies and constant crashes during combat while in Vekreths Maw. I've followed some tips like Pick up all the loot and such, but it still crashes regularly. Those tips got me through the Mitharan Citadel but I'm gated at Vekreths Maw. Sometimes I can actually make it to the portal after closing the rifts and complete a bit of the portal before it crashes.
Everything else is fine and works as expected, so I just do the side quests and other quests in the main game that I didnt do until they patch it.
The voice acting alone should probably make the price higher, so, I'll pay it and look at it, as an extra something for the voices in the org. game 🙂
I'll pay 20 bucks for Fatesworn I got the game free from Playstation plus
I got the dlc for free yet I'm seeing people say they had to pay for it, strange.
I adored this game at it's time. The price is ridiculous, but i will buy it with the re-reconing. Just not now, maybe on a sale…
I'll be honest I was really hype for this game when it came to the switch, and did pay full price. I just really enjoy the variety in combat. Personally haven't beat it but at this point I'm enjoying more than witcher 3 and I really liked that game lol
Wonder if they'll do the same thing with biomutant years down the line
The DLC is absolutely overpriced. It's stopped me from purchasing it up to now. That said, I just remembered that I only payed $10 for the remaster in the first place, so $30 for over 100 hours of content is fair overall. Even less for those that got the game free from Playstation Plus.
KOA is in my opinion the best rpg game after skyrim so yes i would buy the dlc but first i need to replay rereckoning because i had 89 hours of gameplay in the first game
This is my first time playing this game, I got Rereckoning for free on PS+ last month, so far I'm actually enjoying this game a lot and i was surprised it got a DLC expansion.
My only issue is that its $20 which imo is a bit overpriced for a small expansion. I feel $10 would have been more fitting then i would of bought it right away since I've already finished the main story and am doing side quests to hit lvl 40 (currently lvl 37 at the time of me typing this). I will watch some gameplay of the DLC before deciding if I'll buy it or not, im not one to just buy DLC for the sake of buying its gotta be worth $20.
Should have been 15$, i'll grab it on sale.
