BLM boondocking is our favorite way to RV. It’s hard to beat camping for free on wide open expanses of wilderness. However, to get the full effect of a National Park you should camp inside. So, although Joshua Tree was probably full, we loaded up the RV and went into the National Park in search of an open site!
