MUST HAVE RV TRIP PLANNING MEMBERSHIP SOFTWARE TOOLS | RV TRIP WIZARD AND HARVEST HOST REVIEWS EP141
RV TRIP WIZARD IS SIMPLY THE BEST! COUPLED WITH THE HARVEST HOST APP, YOU WILL HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION AND PLANNING HORSEPOWER YOU WILL NEED TO STAY ORGANIZED AND TRAVEL AS “STRESS FREE” AS POSSIBLE. Many “How To” tutorials exist on line showing you how to use the RV Trip Wizard Travel Route Planning software which is not hard, but takes a little patiences. Once you learn the program, you will be in awe how all the others travels BEFORE YOU traveled without this amazingly easy and powerful planning tool.
Harvest Host is one of those programs that sounds too good to be true,……..but trust us,……it is the real deal. While technically “free” at most stays, the expectation is of course for you to patronize the venue, which at least 50% of the time is a winery! Most places have no hookups, but this does vary from site to site. Being able to stay in a safe, relaxing, VERY DIFFERENT environment for the price of a bottle or two of wine, purchasing produce or groceries at a farm or the ticket admission price to a “museum” seems like a fantastic option! Give it a try! Use the links below to begin your membership in the most important organizations that we have been using since June 2017!

Used your link to sign up for RV trip wizard. looks like pretty useful tool so far
Bloody hell I can't believe how bad road is that you are walking along side of.
Biosphere 2 is excellent.
Westwinds is very nice for sure.
And glad to see your starting to get into more than the main stay parks etc.
Sorry about Trump trying to cancel your mail in vote.
Congrats.
🍻🏴👍🏻😉
Mark & Sue, we really enjoyed ep. 141 about RV trip planning. It was very informative and beautifully shot. Would you mind sharing what equipment you used to shoot that video. Thanks for the informative videos and hope your transit west was safe and fun!
V/R,
Paul & Carolyn Taylor
Really love your videos Mark. We've traveled several times and have used Cracker Barrell for short stays. Thanks so much for the content. Very appreciated.
Suggestion when driving into the Bay area to get to Petaluma 901 Elks: Go further North on I-5 and take Hwy 12 West. 4 reasons: #1 Avoid the costly bridge tolls, #2 avoid the congested roadways, #3 I-5 exit/hwy 12 turn off there is a Pilot and Loves that has cheaper fuel with easy filling for your rig, #4 I-5 exit/hwy 12 turn off there is a Blue Beacon so you can have your rig washed. Directions: Go West Hwy 12, then West Interstate 80, then West Highway 37, then North Lakeville Highway into Petaluma.
It looks like you'll be staying the the Petaluma Elks 901. My wife and I have been Rving & boating for many years. I did not see the dates you will be visiting. I am assuming about 14 days as that is the limit. We have a small RV Youtube channel called "Welcome to Moore RVing." If possible we would love to me you. Depending on the weather and your social distancing we could take you out on our boat at the California Delta, Doran Beach, Samuel P. Talor Park, or The Bodega Headlands. If this is something that may interest you please email us at welcometomoorerving@gmail.com.
Great tips and advice as always! We use RV Trip Wizard and we just recently used or HH membership for the very first time. 👍😎🚍
I'll probably get RV Life Pro but it seems to be one of those gotta try it first things. Since you convinced me to buy my favorite RV accessory – Fifi – so who knows.
Great video! We can’t wait to follow your trip. We’re in north central Wisconsin & plan to rv travel when fully retired next year. Keep up the great work!
I heard the last few minutes of you on Chicago radio this morning. I wish I would have heard it all. Is it online somewhere? I have no interest in "camping", but I'd love to do an extended tour through parts of North America in which I haven't spent much time. Maybe follow 80 degrees from the north to the south. My wife plan on starting about 58 (5 years). We'll probably pull a Jeep Wrangler behind a diesel pusher.
Let me guess who your special guest is going to be in Yuma, AZ! Next Exit – Bob and Pearl! :o)
Have you been to Catalina RV Resort in Desert Hot Springs yet? We have a week booked there in late March….Thanks!!
We started using this tool a little over a year ago, and while not perfect, it is by far the best we have found. Coupled with the mobile app, it is well worth the yearly fee! Safe travels!
Great info!
Love your channel! As a teen in the early to mid 70’s, I traveled with my family of 6 all across the US in a 25’ 1969 Explorer on a Dodge chassis. I don’t recall my folks ever making a reservation to stop overnight. Hit all the major National Parks. Used AAA triptychs! Sadly, I cannot convince my wife to purchase an RV. Congrats on the new grandchild!
During the summer of 2019 we traveled a 9,000 mile circle from Florida up through the mid west into Yellowstone back south through Kansas and back home to Florida. I have used RV Trip Wizard almost from the beginning of our travels 8 years ago. On this particular trip I booked 34 different locations and kept all reservations. I have learned to add a few mechanical breakdown days into the trip. Point in case on this trip I had to stop in Loveland, Colorado for repairs. This stop was added and a day or two was deleted down the road. It worked out. But my wife and I agree that we don't leave home without RV Trip Wizard. Great program.
State Fair Park brings back lots of great memories. As a teenager, Ray used to work the carnival during Fair Week. He also got his racing career started on the Fair Park oval which was visible behind your shoulder. He went to high school on S. 76th Street, too (Pius XI), on the other side of the freeway from Fair Park. The cream puffs are AWESOME!
First of all…no need to reply! Just wanted to thank you for all of your hard work on these videos, but I can’t imagine how much of your time they take up. Totally understand you both wanting to reclaim some of your time to enjoy the reasons you first went FT! 😘😘
Always enjoy your videos and glad to hear you talk about being COVID safe.
I bought PA and Harvest Hosts right before the shutdown and haven't used either one. Been staying close to home to camp – doesn't hurt that I live on the central coast of California and have amazing choices like Morro Bay, San Simeon Hearst SP, Pismo Beach SP.
RV trip wizard is the top on my list when COVID isn't raging across the country and I can do some traveling far away. Hoping to go to Oregon – Washington – and Canada next summer.
Back in the 80’s before cell phones and I phones when we traveled there was AAA “what to see books”and “campground” books! Still use them today because I’m too cheap to pay for web sites! 🤔😂😂
Love your stuff, guys! We watch you every Sunday morning… haven't missed a single video.
Keep up the good work, and keep'em coming….
Oh … let us know when the website is ready! We're ready for it!
Enjoy California and all of the destinations it offers! Also, congrats on your new grandson! Safe travels and stay safe this winter.
Thank you for the great information and sharing the video! Congratulations on the grandchild too! We're from Orange County, a bit over a one hour drive south from Pasadena. There are plenty of beautiful biking trails in the area if you'd like to check them out. https://www.traillink.com/city/orange-ca-trails/
The E-lux bike factory is in the vicinity too! Safe travels to you both. = )
What kind and brand of starting batteries did you buy?
great info – thank you
enjoyed the video as usual. 😉 I tried to read your list of stops in RV Trip Wizard but it was a little to quick. Are you staying in Tucson by any chance? We were just there to tour the Saguaro National Park and can recommend the Casino Del Sol. They have like 73 sites and only 6 were occupied! The Gila National Park was open to drive through but the actual walking tour through the dwellings was closed. I would recommend a good set of binoculars and a telephoto lens. We've been on the road for 2 months and are on our way back home in Florida. Safe travels.
Hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip south.
Following the sun in your retirement! Something my wife and I certainly hope to be doing in the near future.
Looks like Uncle Mark has been hitting the cakes and cookies a little too much! Theres a California diet in your future!
Great trip planning utilities and resources Mark! We highly recommend the same too!
First of all just want to see what you guys are AMAZING! You are so down to earth and have awesome information for a full-time RVers existing or new ones looking to start. Question: we are looking to pick up our new Renegade Super C 45 foot RV next summer, but we are starting to hear some issues about large Super C’s NOT being aloud in certain RV parks. Apparently many are Class A only, they steer away from Super C’s because they think they are families with kids. Have you experience many of the Super C in the parks and have you experience parks where they’re not allowed? Thank you so much! We went with the Super C vs the Dutch Star because of the safety factor if in an accident and also the ease and convenience of repair work on the engine.
Say Hi to Bob and Pearl this week. Scott & Laura P.S. I love RV Trip Wizard also!
Thank you for this video. We will be buying our first drivable. Have been camping for more than 50 years time to travel since we are now retired. Will be looking into rv trip wizard.
I left NW WI Monday the day before 4 inches of snow dropped. 68° and sunny today in Las Vegas. Travel safe my friends and enjoy being back on the road. Air brakes and diesel fumes are the best days!
Great video Hope you made it to destination okay with any issues, also Mark I need a fifi with my bad knees, where did you purchase yours? Congrats on the new grand baby, we are expecting our 6th grand baby from our youngest daughter which would be her first.
Drove the Milwaukee mile track in the background a week ago. You are in a great location. The track has a press booth with a lot of track history. You might find it interesting. Have a good trip.
Congratulations on your new Grandson! Luckily I made it to Biosphere 2 this year in March just before the lockdowns started. It was a great tour well worth it. Sorry you won't get the same chance!
Did I miss the repair video for your slide at Newmar? Did they fix it? EP # ?
I live in Las Cruces and have been to the cliff dwellings and they are a must see. Glad you saw them and enjoyed it.
Have you already been through the Arpeggio Winery? That is pretty close to us.
Congratulations you two on the new grandson! Another great video! I'm checking out RV trip wizard and Harvest host right now. Safe travels!
Great video. Have safe travels.
This is a bit off topic for this video but I am curious where or how you wash/detail Myles on your journeys. Also if you have a preferred product that you use. Many campgrounds and resorts don't allow RV washing. We are noticing some oxidation and want to get the rv back to sparkling. Thank you in advance.
Was excited to see this on RV Trip Wizard. I signed up and got very frustrated in trying to get a simple route planned. You encouraged me and I will try again. We are taking a trip to Palo Alto, CA in November to visit relatives. Our first trip in CA with our rig and nervous about it. Was nervous mainly about the roads and then someone mentioned the fires! I want to make sure we take a safe route.
Looks like great trip planning software. Safe travels during these trying times. Trust you get to enjoy some quality time on that exhaustive cross country journey. Be safe, be well.
Safe travels…glad you escape the cold
Great video. Love your channel. Safe travels and I look forward to seeing your adventures across the country!!
