  • I disagree, I think I toilet video would be helpful, the greatest problem on sites is that people don’t use the toilet waste facilities properly, or know how to empty or clean their toilets properly

  • Entertaining, I’m looking up Thetford as you speak 😂 Wondered if motorhomers ever use a cb radio on the road?

  • I really recommend getting one of the genuine Thermos mugs. They're not cheap but worth every penny. They keep a drink warm and drinkable even overnight and they don't leak if you throw them in a bag.

  • I would say it’s essential to also have a sense of humour too, does anyone else agree! 😂

  • To fill our water tank without a hose pipe I have a filling cap (can’t remember the make) that goes on the tank fill point in place of the cap. This filling cap has a Hoselock type connection on it, brilliant if you use a hose. But I have a 12 volt submersible pump with a hose and hose lock fitting. If I have to use the aquaroll to top up the water it’s easy, drop the pump in the barrel, connect the Hoselock to the cap plug in the pump 12 volt supply and wait for the barrel to empty. No lifting and pouring. Vital bit of gear!

  • Love your videos, just one thing on this one, sorry to be pedantic but it's a CO monitor not a CO2 monitor 🙂

  • Thin solar panels flexible and self stick you can cover the whole roof and add less than 10 kg to the weight /change city tyres for AT tyres(all terrain) /do not confuse with MD (mud tyres) tyres repair kit (very easy to do)mini compressor /, all motor homes must have water filters and purification /GEN TRAX generator (8.5 kg)/360 degrees spot light on the roof / 360 degrees cam ,day and night vision on the roof /, dehumidifier SOLT 16L /smoke alarms essential/ CO2 alarm/ at least 2 fire extinguishers /global connection ENERDRIVE/ GLOCK 23 GEN 4 and plenty of ammo, last resort emergency /metal jerry cans (petrol cans) capuccino machine De 'Longhi

  • Can I ask what tow bar did you install and a rough cost please

  • We found a spare toilet cassette essential, especially touring Europe.

  • Love how you start with saying 10-15 and the video tittle is 21! Also campers don't have blind/silver screens as standard.

  • Aaaaarrrggghhhhh – must not be triggered, must not be triggered (and…. calm). It’s a CO, carbon monoxide, detector and not a CO2, carbon dioxide, detector. Whilst both gasses will kill you, the former only needs to be a few parts per million concentration whilst the latter you exhale and only causes problems if it displaces the available oxygen. Love your videos, but several van lifers refer to it as a CO2 detector, and it just sets my inner science nerd trigger off sorry 🤯🤯🤯. P.S. you are forgiven…. this time 😋

  • Hi Kat, you talked about safety alarms for smoke and Carbon Dioxide (CO2). Did you mean Carbon Monoxide (CO)? That is the highly poisonous gas given off by faulty gas appliances. Sends you to sleep, permanently. Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is not poisonous. We breath it out. It would have to get to serious levels to cause a problem. Usually you would have to be in a sealed container, like a submarine, before you have to worry about that.

  • 2 small water containers rather than 1 large one, makes carrying them much easier.

Solar charging system is essential. If nothing else you never have to worry about a flat battery when your MH has been in storage for a while.

Additional external locks for garage and habitation doors, peace of mind for so many situations.

All season m+s tyres for muddy rally fields and Festivals, looking at you Glastonbury 2016.

External thermal blinds for cab windows, they don’t completely stop condensation but they do reduce it.

  • Top tip for satnav, buy a truckers satnav rather than an overpriced dedicated motorhome one. There’s a few very good navs sold buy truck drivers. I have one and it’s fantastic and only cost £100

  • I have a 10 ltr Watering can I just top up fresh water with and yes you are to far away most times from a water point unless your on service pitch on campsite we never do as to expensive

  • If I buy any more essential kit I am going to have the van up plated to HGV lol. By the way, where are you guys from?

  • Seems like I have most of these stacked up in a spare bedroom…..just don’t have the MH. Been delayed until next March. Ah well more virtual travelling in the meantime.

  • Couldn’t watch as you kept talking over each other

  • No 1 for me is passenger air bag! Many moho's have this as part of the driver's or lux pack. Ought to be there as part of the base spec. imho.

  • Late Entry
    Mini jumpstart power-packed combos
Noco Jump starter Box various models but the £99 GB40 model seem to be the sweet spot, claims to start 6l petrol or 3l diesel engines (halfords Amazon etc )
    Charges up by USB
Single USB out for phone charging etc
    Torch
12v Jumpstarrt czbles with polarity warning and it will jumpstart motorbikes as well.
Best bit it only weighs about a kilo..

  • Short 1m hose to flush out the toilet cassette
Stick up battery cupboard lights for the outside lockers incl gas.
    Bullseye spirit level
Strap hanger loops around the front top seat belt mounts for us vertically challenged to get in the cab
    Non slip mat cupboard lining.

  • Well my over prepped head had a lot of these on my list, the one i want to know more on is the internet element so i can work from the motor home… any chance of a vlog or a blog on this?

  • Oh dear, there's very few of your essentials that we carry 🤔😂

  • We had a flat hose, and it was terrible – reel fell apart immediately, takes ages to get out and stow again, always kinks. I like the stretchy garden type hose (but not technically food grade i guess).

  • Love these kind of vids, motorhome items thanks both great to to see and hear both your views, (good fun) thanks 😀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

  • We’ve had a Karcher for years, we’ve always used it after having a shower at home, wouldn’t be without one, so now we have another use for it 😊
