Sometimes a day in the life of a full time RVer is just plain odd. People setting up camp in your spot while you’re gone, waking up to two trucks doing donuts in your site, and our only connection to the rest of the world failing made our last 12 hours just plain odd.

The past 12 hours have been rather odd for us during our boondocking stay in the White Mountain National Forest. While we were gone the night before someone decided to stay with us in our dispersed camping site for the night, and the next morning we were woken up to the sounds of two trucks revving their engines in our site, doing doughnuts, and peeling out of our site.

Our connection to the rest of the world, Jenni’s laptop, failed on us as well at only 2 months of age so we had to get it repaired as well. We felt one of the downsides of full time RVing pretty hard because we don’t have a permanent address or are in one location long enough to send the laptop in to HP to have it repaired under warranty so we had to pay to have it repaired third party. Oh well, we take the bad with the good and this is just one of those things.
