  • OMGosh, Alex Bay, NY! I hardly ever see these attractions that are local to me in these videos. Most take I-90 to the coast and miss all these little gems up along the St. Lawrence River!

  • First video of yours I have seen. You guys are so open and honest. Thanks so much for all the info you give.

  • With our motorhome traveling the USA, we average around $5000 per month in cost. The longer you stayed in one spot using less fuel the cheaper your monthly cost would be. Our motorhome lawn payment, storage fees and insurance averaged around $1100 per month just sitting in storage.

  • I think it is wonderful you two are enjoying your experience. You give me hope, I am retired w/Dog and we want to travel. This would be my bucket tour and my entertainment needs are much simpler than yours. I know I can come way under your budget, and I am a mechanic and will do most of my repairs also. Thank you for sharing. 😊

  • Great video. I’m travel on my motorcycle been thinking about getting a RV. What irritates me about some military base camp grounds is tent camping can be $20/night. I have the smallest foot print while camping. I sleep in a hammock. My cooker is a rocket thing. I don’t require electricity. I prefer BLM or under $10/night. $17/night in an RV that’s great.

Great video best video like this I’ve seen. Very honest and informative.

  • Loved the video thanks so much. A lot of questions I had you have now answered. My wife and I are wanting to get out on the road. Just waiting on things to sale so we can then apply those funds to your motorhome. I have been watching you videos with a few other trying to understand what to expect. Thanks so much for sharing I have already learned so much already. You guys was talking about your solar system. If you do not mind me asking how many panels did you install ? Did you use wet cells , AGM, or Battle Born ? Do you have 12, 24 or 48 VDC configuration ? Do you know what DCV and amps of each panel ?

  • I listened quite closely.
I think your expenses are significantly less than I would have spent. I know your in your second year and there’s been a number of lessons learned, but Congratulations and keep on.

  • Just found your channel. Not an rv'er but I retired a few months ago on a very low income so I will need to find creative ways to earn $ . I am definitely with you in the philosophy of " It is MY life !" I am the happiest I have been in years and it was the best decision I could have made for myself. That said, you do not need to justify your choices , adventures, costs , etc
But simply be happy and keep doing you

  • What kind of tracking tool do you use, to track all these details? An Excel spreadsheet? A certain app? The old-fashioned pen and paper? I will be new to RVing in the future, as I am waiting for a build right now, but it would be handy to know what works. I love watching your videos and seeing your adventures. You both teach me so much about RVing, and about life as well. Fabulous couple! Thanks.

  • For the cost of depreciation alone on an RV or a Fifth wheel , you can take a Limousine to the Finest Motel and live like a KING

  • This is something that my wife and I have talked about doing since it’s just her, me, and our dog. Great information in this video. I just hope the RV driver at 10:22 didn’t go under any low clearances with that antenna elevated.

  • A grand total for ALL expenses would have made this complete. Maybe you could do that in a pinned post.

  • All pretty cool but 90% of your camping fees are comp. So no idea what "real" costs would be.
That $5800 was likely $15000 in reality.

  • $1830 could be a one day pass for a family of eight at Disney. You guys are doing fine! 👍🏻

  • If you travel to the east coast Virginia north more than once a year, get an EZpass. It doesn't cost you. You just need to keep a certain amount in your account. It will save you money and time. We originally got one because we travel to New England every couple years. And now my area of Virginia is getting tolled to death.

  • Hello, I am 67 and I am planning g on purchasing an RV. BUT as I watch you travel and give most important information I feel like what advice you are giving is only for HUGE RV's. So I guess I am asking "why" only for HUGE RV's? You two are wonderful people. I am prior service, love military life. I am a veteran. Navy and Air Force Reserve. Can you tell me who I should contact to get into RV living, smaller RV's. I really don't think being a smaller RV, we would be accepted. Again, it just seems that way. I am ready, willing, and able but where does one start. Oh, no husband, just a hard working women, know a few things 🙃 and not afraid. Waiting to hear from you. And thank you
