With our dog Sweetie’s birthday coming up, we decided to stay in Moab, Utah for just a couple more days so we could take her on a pet friendly hike in the area. Although the nearby national parks (Aches and Canyonlands) don’t allow animals on the trails, the surrounding BLM land does! And since traversing trails is one of our hiking hound’s favorite things to do, we found a good one for her and us – the Corona Arch trail.

I want to take my husband there. He has never been to Moab. Happy Anniversary to you both. We are fixing to be married 45 years. I love your animals. We are animal people too, 4 dogs and 1 cat.   • Love this video. My dog is my son and I celebrate his birthday every year. He just turned 6 earlier this month. He gets wet food for breakfast, long walks, and he gets a slice of pizza. He gets spoiled on his birthday. Love how you included sweetie's puppy pics. So Cute!!!!

The only pair we got our dog was for the snow, and she would stop and try and sometimes succeed in pulling them off! Thanks for sharing.   • This is one of the best arches and was recently incorporated into a national park through a land trade agreement, so it may not be pet friendly forever.

  • If dogs have any fault… it is their short life. Love Sweetie while you have her. In August we lost our yellow lab… Kyber was the best dog I have ever had.
