We optimistically head to a first come, first serve campground, Norris, in Yellowstone National Park hoping to find a site that will fit us. After almost 2 hours of waiting, we get the very last site. Too bad we can’t fit into it. 😳

After almost breaking the RV and getting yelled at by park rangers, we finally find a place to stay. The next morning we head out into the park to hike the terraces at Mammoth Springs. A few storms roll through, bringing more double rainbows our way! Unfortunately, they also bring more hail.

Stay tuned for the next episode where we continue exploring Yellowstone National Park with our friends @justrolandwithit as they experience Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic for the first time! Be sure to like and subscribe and click on the bell icon for notifications when we release new videos!

Good luck and go Tampa Bay!😁

  • i would be trading that trailer in on something smaller.

  • Always remove the sway bars when backing up and a tight turn. Never be afraid to unhook and reposition your tow vehicle

  • Been there many times please leave the BIG ! Suff at home nothing bigger than 16 feet tolal length should be under 35 feet.

  • While Yellowstone IS beautiful, there are just so MANY people…

  • I loved that double rainbow over Canary springs! Great job you guys!

  • I'm liking our 24ft 67 silver streak even better now. We camped in Yellowstone 4 days, great time

  • That's way if you have just two people get a truck camper you can go about anywhere with it

  • Sorry for you, really! Our RV is landing us in divcore court cause my husband the driver thinks he's an expert on RV skills!!!! No fun at all I wish we never bought it. Not too many miles on it hopefully I can get rid of it. Gods best to you.

  • I was afraid the MGTOW movement was going to become the new norm=It’s So nice to see a family man surrounded by his First Ladies & enjoying God’s country together! TY all for sharing!

  • There’s a perfect place that’s perfect for my 42 foot 5th wheel by the lake that’s secluded and no fee

  • the best thing i did was leave my camper at a campground south of yellowstone and just drive my pickup in, after 10 am it gets so busy there.

  • Great video! Any hail damage to the rig or truck?

  • Been to Yellowstone and the Tetons 4 times. The last time was August 2018 and I spent 4 days there, the other three trips were a day to go through. It was amazing being there for those four days I used a day for different areas of the park.
You should install some vent covers over your vents. It allows them to be open in all kinds of weather. My Dad installed some on our old 24ft prowler and it was awesome. We could have the vent open and didn't have to worry about rain or snow (we mostly used the trailer from November to April for Skiing) coming in the vents

  • "It'll take 15 days to upload that." Oh, you're taking me back to Limewire days when downloading a single song was telling me it will take 37 years.

  • I own a 36 ft travel trailer and I found tight spots taking the sway bars off gives me a little more wiggle room and easier to maneuver the rig around. Hope this helps.

  • …suppose, just suppose you had slipped off the roof of your trailer – your family would then have a HUGE problem!

  • Oh yeah we have had many close calls on the motorcycles in Yellowstone, including a close call head on collision!

  • Glad i professionally drive a semi. Those spots i make look easy. Quite a beneficial career..lol

  • good call on backing off first sight. always trust your gut and for the most part things will work out.

  • I’ve camped Yellowstone 14 years, and some of those campsites are extremely tight especially fishing bridge campground.

  • Wake up to reality. Here out West that was just average hail. We frequently see 2.5-3" hail. Nothing quite like it:-) stuns cows and destroys cars and glass and takes all the leaves off the trees.

  • if you are 30' + always, always, ALWAYS park outside of the State/National Parks and drive in. Yes, you have that drive…but, better vs. wandering around aimlessly looking for a 40' pull through!

  • That trailer is way too big for the national park circuit. That thing is for the Lazy Days RV park. lol I would never even attempt that.

  • Life would be so much more relaxing with a smaller trailer. It can be done. No need to bring the whole house along……..

  • I get made fun of for having a class 3 receiver hitch on the front of my 3/4 ton. But it is priceless in extremely tight sites. Drop the trailer, turn the truck around and it is an amazing difference in your turning radius.but you did a wonderful job.

  • Went swimming in the Firehole River and that was just Awsome place spent a few hours there.

  • Went to Yellowstone for first and only time in 2005. Saw most of the big animals on the drive up to our cabin including the two largest Bull Elk I've ever seen in my life they were Jurassic sized. Went out the North Gate where you are at now in video and drove up a mountain in Montana to go horseback riding.

  • You both did a great job working as a team to get your large travel trailer and truck through those right spots without hitting anything.

  • I don't understand the mentality. Every Murican is a driver and mechanic with more money than sense and no idea. πŸ’°πŸ‘πŸ’―

  • Go tell that guy to move his car

  • You must get walk-in-talkies. Brings the stress level way down especially for the spotter.

  • There's no way I would go camping nowadays to crowded unless it's off season.
