Wow! I am a widow that was considering going on the road with a truck and trailer and you just totally convinced me I must be crazy! I could never do all the things you were talking about. In fact most of it sounded like it came from Mars to me. Guess I'd better look into a van. I know I can handle a van! I drove my kids everywhere and then some in one years ago. LOL!
Awesome video and great tips. We are only weekend warriors based out of Lehi, UT right now but we plan on going full time in a few years. Until then I am working on my YT channel and loving your videos. Thanks for sharing!
Hey y'all, we are Shion and Matthew and just came across your channel! We are new to the RV world as well! We really enjoyed this video! Thanks for sharing!
Really enjoy your channel. I believe the blue Camco water filters get down to 20 microns but the green filters get down to 5 microns.
Dump the blue and go with the green.
Great advise. Thanks! Stay Calm and RV On. Harry & Cathy
Switch it up sent us over. Good stuff, glad we found youπ
Thank you for let us know πππ₯°
You guys are cute. RVing is fun, but there is a ton of maintanence. Well worth it. Keep it up, your both entertaining.
You guys are so cute π Miss you. We are about to take off to our adventure π
You continue to inspire me. I would love to do this once the kids are done with school.
Hey guys, good to see you are having a blast. I agree with commenter PiperCraig that tires are an important aspect and I suggest looking into Sailun 16" Load range "G" tires as long as your current alloy rims can handle 110 psi of air pressure. There should be a stamp somewhere on the rims specifying max air pressure for your current rims. I went even further by upgrading to 17.5" heavy duty rims with 5/8" lug nuts which required me to replace the brake drums with ones that have the 5/8" lug studs w lug nuts torqued to 325 ft lbs.. Bottom line is I now have the Sailun 17.5" tires that are load range "H" which are blown up to 125 psi which provides peace of mind that a blowout would be next to impossible in most situations as long as the psi is monitored. Hope this helps.
Hey guys… Tire maintenance. When we took our first cross-country RV trip, we blew out 3 tires in 3,000 miles. Some were old with hard spots, others were not inflated properly. Since learning, it's been zero in the last ten years, but very scary first year travel to Nauvoo and church history trail.
I still can't believe you pulled it off!
