Ray has worked in construction most of his life. In 2017 after not being able to rent due to income requirements, we became RV’ers. Soon fitting that 20 foot hose into the bumper created an issue.
Then one morning it hit. Ray came up with a hinged design that didn’t require removal every time it was opened. He set to work in the garage and came up with the prototype. Today each set is hand crafted and inspected to his standards.

  • If our tank is leaking into the bathroom because it has cracked at the chemically bonded seam, do you think the extended warranty would cover putting a molded tank in it’s place you guys?

  • I'm new to this and haven't even purchased by camper. I have an F250 with the 6.7L. I did my research and have about 3.5k available for gooseneck or 5th wheel. My concern is finding campgrounds to set up in. I'm thinking that BLM lands would be best way to go as I'm a disabled vet and can stay at those locations for free. How do you find places to stay? Do you use Walmarts? Thanks and it would be great to cross paths on the road.

  • Hey guys, was wondering what you guys use to clean your toilet bowl with, so it doesn’t hurt your seal? I heard that vinegar and baking soda was ok, don’t know yet, thanks

  • You might want to put an anti-siphon valve on your water spigot, especially on your black tank flush connection.

  • A fellow germaphobe! We’re getting our 1st camper (Jay Flight 264BH) so I’m doing all the YouTube homework so glad I found y’all. I’ve watched several videos and subbed.

  • You guys are so cool and funny and I am not even a camper! Love your videos!

  • Hi. Our RV do not have a message board to see how is the black water level. What should we do to monitor the level.

  • By far, I feel this has been the most educational video I have seen from you since I’ve started watching (they’re all helpful though). Thanks for all of the insight.

  • I want you 2 odd couples to know I appreciate your videos they are fun I enjoy watching you and I love y’all & how much I’ve learned because of you I’m trying to become a RV-er I’m going to reach out to you 2 if I ever need help thank you for how much time you spend to show the work Husband & wife team thank you

  • "before you could catch someone that pulled up" – why did you not suggest the hew comer think about what they were doing instead of laughing about it to each other and NOTHING Said. Hmmm

  • What may be common sense to you having lived on the road fro a few years may not be to others – very sad if your not helping people in real need but looking for views at their expense on You-F-ing Tube

  • If your purpose in these videos is to educate then when you see someone that may be NEW to the RV experience – such as the story at 19:00+ why not just ASK – gee have you been an RV'er for some time or are you new – and lead them into a conversation that PLACING the black water hose on the Picknick table is not a good idea – I think he problem ultimately is with you not spreading the word and edicut the the newbies or un-informed alike – just my opinion

  • at 16:16+ No nothing to do with a "Clean Black tank" your flushing the hose you sai "That's a clean black tank right there" the black tank HAS NOT BEEN PROPERLY FLUSHED just the connected hose

  • A bit misleading – flushing your gray tank after does not "Clean" your black water tank….. it cleans the hose – just sayin

  • But general maintenance should include using boraxo in the Black water tank

  • I learned a lot from this video. Lots of things I hadn’t thought of. Very useful information. Thank you so much!!

  • Love it you guys are so funny and informative at the same time. Keep the Video's Coming.

  • Great video. I would use a Clorox wipe to wipe out the fresh water pipes inside and out and the tables before I used them.

  • You definitely need to make John’s therapist a regular bit. That 15 seconds was priceless. Like Lucy with Charlie Brown.

  • I have to ask… What is the galley? My TrailManor just has black & gray tanks…

  • Have you ever thought about eliminating the entire black tank and all its issues by getting a compost toilet? I had a leaking black tank that was fine until it got above about 3/4 full, then it would leak. I spent a lot of time under the RV with various patching compounds, but ultimately they all failed. I was going to have to shell out at least $1000 to have it replaced when I heard of compost toilets. I've had my Airhead toilet for about 9 months now and just love it! Best addition since solar, I go two months between changing the solids talk. https://airheadtoilet.com/

  • You two are awesome human beings!
Thanks for the very informative video.

  • Husband and i are looking to set out for the first time in about three weeks. We will be newbies. Doing research now. What’s a galley tank???

  • Get quick connects for all your hoses makes it easier and quicker. Just a hack I saw from watching other channels.

  • So, Thanks for all the videos. I took my new RV on a trial run to an RV site close to my home in San Antonio TX to Ft Sam Houston Army Post RV Park. I got everything setup and stayed for 6 days. It took me 2 days to realize to push the Gas button in for the Fridge to use the AC Power hookup, but it worked. It was between 103 and 105 every day, and my A/C kept up. I called ahead to make sure they had 50 Amp. Used my New Power Watchdog, sprayed the water hookups like you said and used the pressure regulator with the split water valves. Have to say my biggest accomplishment was clearing the black and grey tanks though and I think you know why. I was making sure not to cross-contaminate, used gloves, used different designated hose, only had to use 1 of the 2 drainage hoses with the clear elbow, and was SO happy when I saw the tank water go clear. I don't have a Black tank drainage hose hookup (that I know of) so, I used a Spinner Wand in the Toilet and ran the hose through the window. After I cleaned and drained it, I refilled 2/3rds full again to make sure I got everything, then cleaned the wand, the sewage hose and the fittings again for the next tenants. You guys have taught me so much. The only thing I didn't use was the LP Stove Burners. I ordered in or went and ate out LOL! I was on vacation LOL! Anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with you guys. Remember ALL things are possible with God! Thanks for all the Vids, Lessons, Mistakes, and Triumps, I'm sure there will be more Triumps and Blessings to come. Love and God Bless, Tom AKA Senior! Here's my Little Toy Hauler if you want to see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJUnGTBgAyU

  • What i used to do is drop a Becket of water in the toilet that give a big pression of water
and push tha stuf out and clean more

  • Hi John- My wife and I when out in the RV for a 6 day dry camp and discovered just how many days we were able to go before the black tank got full. I was waiting for my 2/3 warning light to come on and guess what? The sensor was not working…. Nice. No light came on and the pooper got full! Gross! We had to leave that park early and head to another that had hook ups. Lesson learned…. we are learning so much about the does and don’ts of RV-Ing from your videos they are very helpful and I am encouraged by your open faith on the channel. You can be a witness in all you do (there will always be the haters- count it a blessing) I am praying for you and Mercedes this morning that your life be full of joy and your hearts and minds content despite all the challenges that you and your household may face. All the best Manny & Ana 8/14/2020

  • I don't see how people can give a Thumb down on this video. This is basically one of the biggest duties of rving. I have being working at the airport as a Ramp Agent for 20 years and i know what it take to flush an airplane lavatory. We take that seriously. Sizes between an aircraft and rv are way different but the concept is the same. Great video!

  • Cassette toilet . And if your elderly, “Depends” are life savers on road trips!

  • Love your videos, good job.we have all learned the hard way how yo do things,

  • Thank you guys we are about to buy our 1st RV and all the info we got from you guys will be a big help!—Norm Shella & Josh
