  • How did you clean out your fresh water tank when you first got your RV?

  • My advice…don’t poop in your rv. Camp where they have showers and bathrooms. We only wash dishes and pee in our head. So muncher nicer and cleaner smelling air in our RV. Who wants to smell crap when your cooking breakfast😝

  • Very educational video. I've gone from listening to fear-mongering Alex Jones since January of 2020, thinking everyone is hunkered down at home, til' last week, when I started binge-watching Your amazing travel channel. I can't wait to retire & live a similar lifestyle. May God continue to richly bless You & Your beautiful dog !! @19:36

  • Thanks for sharing, can’t wait for my wife I to get our class c.

  • 2013 I watched videos before striking out with my 1995 class C after 3 years of having a guy who did this dirty job. I became convinced that I must have the Rhino hose and connectors to avoid some of the very horrific breakage and splash situations that were described. Problem was that the larger hose and connectors would not fit into the hose storage slot. SO I got a 6 inch round pvc pipe (with screw-on ends) and with some creativity had it attached to the back bumper. It was the best improvement that I had done and was SO glad that I did.

  • thank god my country upbrining prepared me for this i cleaned out sewer lines in bare hands to unstop a clog so dumping in a rv no problem for me lol

  • WOW, what a great video! So helpful to a newbie,,so nice to see it done on an older rig, like the one I got…so many show shiny new class A's! Thank you

  • Thank you for showing this, pull out and turn push and turn these simple instructions help me as I’m new to this and insecure .

  • I bought an older class c bad time of year in Missouri it’s getting very cold . I have sewer hose and I’m at a park but I can’t get the big cap off the main to connect my sewer hose . I’m 60 I’m weaker than I used to be . I’m going to have to hire someone to do this . Frustrating. I used this bathroom I think I’ll go get antifreeze and put down the drain so tanks don’t freeze . My mind is determined lol my muscles aren’t listening.

  • Great video and instruction for us new-b's. Just be careful of touching your sleeves and clothes with the dirty gloves on!

  • Thank you for de-mythifying this method for me! I’ve never done it by myself and I bought the RV for my husband and I to use and he died two years ago, so I’m on my own. I think because my hoses are older that came with the used RV that I bought, so I’d like to get a set up like you have which makes it look like it would be easier than what I have right now. I’m currently not living full-time in my RV but it’s a possibility I might have to do so for economic reasons. Did you get your current hose and fittings at Camping World?

  • 2017 elkridge calls waste water the black water tank? Is this accurate?

  • Thanks Carolyn I’m a newbie at this and watching this video was exactly what I’ve been looking for.

  • How do the dogs do in the heat? I am sure you have to modify your lifestyle to keep them safe. I plan on buying a class B RV and traveling with my huskies.

  • This was so helpful. I just went on my first camping trip with my two daughters and I watched this video before attempting the tank dump. Easy peasy! Thanks, Carolyn.

  • Very informative video but I'm afraid I still fear the black tank😳

  • Good video, but, a suggestion… Dump and flush your black tank first, then the gray last. The gray water will flush your stinky snake. If you do not, you will have a really stinky slinky. Also, another tip I found works for us… Close the Black tank, get the black tank at least halfway full, and then open that Black valve. Repeat this until the water is clear, and you will be good to go. Again, not that you are doing it incorrectly, but, some tips that I have picked up over the years. Thanks.

  • This is a disgusting video, but it had to be done. Thank you!

  • Sooo, what is the point of wearing gloves if you are getting them dirty then touching your clothing and soap packs?

  • That's why I don't like campers/motorhome…..I hate this job.
Fan of staying in nice hotels….

  • Carolyn you are a fantastic teacher. I don't live in or own an RV but after your demo I know I would be able to dump the tanks. Who knows, maybe someday I will be with friends who own an RV and they'll wonder how come I know how to dump the tanks!

  • Scott Tissue is the best for RV use

  • You should keep the sewer stuff out in the air and let it dry out after use

  • Carolyn, I can't thank you enough for making this video, you're awesome lady!!! Please, always stay safe, stay free, and if you find the blues coming on just remember "the sun'll come out tomorrow" and if it doesn't you can put the key in the ignition and go find it, and some beauty too along the way.

  • Ty…u really put my mind at ease!!
You really do ROCK!! I hope someday we cross paths once I'm on the road!! Keep on keepin on soul sister!!❤✌❤

  • When your finished dumping the dump and you unhook the hose, after you rinse the hose, you can then also pour a little Clorox bleach through it and rinse again to help kill off the bad stuff too.

  • Thank you for this demonstration. A nice big pair of ”clean” (not sterile) rubber boots that easily slip on would be great also. Keep in a black bag and use before walking into dump area If they're loose enough – they'd be easy to slip off outside the camper door to run in. I like the idea of 3 pairs gloves on each hand. Also hand sanitizer! Also PLEASE make sure there are no leaks – anywhere! It IS possible, you just have to take your time. In a pinch cover your shoes with Walmart bags!! 😂👍

  • Ok, so thank you and I love you. Best video Ive seen this week on RV/Campers! Just the exact video I was looking for and you covered the whole subject beautifully! Thank you for being to the point cuz I loose focus on any one subject. Lol, again, Thank you!

  • Very good video!!!! I was gonna say about the two valves open at same time but someone beat me to it🤪

  • Excellent information that every RVer should know. Thank you !

  • Why not add a teaspoon or so of bleach into both hose systems b4 putting away? To help prevent bacteria also this little amount wouldn't hurt the fres water tank depending are PPM ? Just a thought as I am might be living in a trailer or Rv short term because of going to be out of a home i good O'L CALI AFTER 23 YRS OF SERVICE DUE TO OVERPRICED RENT☹🐕

  • How do you.know when your black or grey water tank is full?

  • i like how you used a black bag for the sewer hose and white bag for fresh water hose and that you keep them separated .nice video. im new to rv's and this video helped me alot. thanks

  • Why am I watching this at 1:30 AM while eating Taco Bell…

  • And the next person is going to have a contaminated water spiket
