• You can replace that anti-siphon valve with a brass version. That's what I did.

• Wow, the money you pay BIG $$ and they use plastic parts like that? Inexcusable!!

• I would put more air pressure on the system to find the leak more quickly

• They are all poorly made grossly overpriced unsafe examples of american culture-less excess … made for piggish, vapid, spiritually bankrupt, obese, knuckle-headed fools whose only form of pleasure is smelling one another's farts in expensive overcrowded ""campsites" in end of life reward for having a deceitful existence cheating others.

• When buying a camper, how often do you hear of people not buying an RV because they found the "Same Thing" for $2000 less at …. That is why they keep the cost down to start. There have been RV manufacturers that tried to go with quality, but had to shut down because no one would buy them.

• Built to minimum for the beancounters

• When we replaced the shower in our 5th Wheel a couple of years ago, I had to re-/reverse-engineer the drain and fresh water plumbing in that area. While doing this I followed the lines up the wall to the shower head, and noticed two more lines going up the wall. What's this, I wondered. It was a vacuum breaker valve, and the reason for this is it has to be above the lever of any sinks, tubs, or toilets in the rig, and cramming it between the shower and the entertainment center I guess seemed like the perfect place to hide all of theses plastic fixtures and pipes. About 3 weeks after the Valentine's Day Fortnight of Frozenness I noticed water dripping from our trailer under that area. It was indeed our friend the vacuum breaker! After removing the TV from the wall, I made my own access hatch in the paneling. Fun with RVs!

• THOSE CRAPPY HOT WATER HEATERS" REPLACE IT W A TANKLESS". GOT RID OF THE propane TO' AND WENT WITH A DIESEL HEATER. MUCH BETTER IN COLD WEATHER "PROPANE FREEZES' 'DIESEL DOESN'T.

• I need a box truck for 1

• Did they replace the wet insulation

• So funny how all rv owner blames the builders when they know it a cheep piece crap anyway doom to fail in a couple of years anyways it even states that all unit are not meant to be lived in long term

• What about the soaking wet under belly???

• I had the check valve in back of the water heater break. Result was trickle of hot water. I removed it, went to plumbing supply for a brass valve, discovered even brass valve has a plastic shut off 🤬

• Sorry you all had that problem. That really stinks.
  Really sad RV mfg put cheap cr@# on their rigs. Can you imaging how cheaply the new 2021 2022's are being made since this Covid cr@# and the lack of material.
  Please don't take this wrong but we really want to that you for sharing your troubles. As you both said, just an once of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure.

• 250,000 moving parts all built by the cheapest bidders….. never forget that they are made to fail! some quicker than others

• Quite frankly thats how I used to buy my campers ( part time so not a RV type person but same theory) people would have issues so they'd get mad and sell them, I'd pick them up for dimes on the dollar and then go through and do upgrades replace a little wood or paneling use for a couple years then someone would make an offer or say they'd like to have something like it and away it would go. Buy another one same way, if its one thing I could count on is motorcycles and campers could be picked up cheap after some failure and I could fix it, enjoy it and sell at a profit a couple years later and upgrade. Best friend got an RV, he paid pennies on the dollar for, he's had it for 6 or 7 years now, put about $1000.00 into it and has some great vacations clear across the country in it. His insurance list the value at about 6x what he has into it. Its a good way to get into affordable fun if you can do some of the work yourself.
  That said those techs were outstanding and the foreman gushing about them wasn't misplaced. I would guess they have a list for maintenance and another list for emergencies and also if you're using the camper you get priority over someone not using theirs. Seems to be a great place though!

• Many manufacturers use poor quality parts, cheap tires, etc. Plastic fittings aren't necessarily junk. Some are, some aren't. We use poly fittings on spraying equipment and as long as they're winterized properly they last for years. RVs have always had a bad reputation. Think of the money that could be saved if quality items were used from the get go.

  Often times those anti-siphon valves are located under the bathroom sink, where they're easier to access.

• This correction by the rv shop doesn't make sense, that valve is only installed inline on the black tank flush hose. There's no pressure on that line from the water pump. Only when you hook up a hose to your blank tank flush port in the water compartment. If you have pressure there when city water or pump is on something is miss plumbed, period. I've been a tech for 20 years in California.

• All r.v.s are junk, I have had 3 5th wheels after 10 years they start to fail

• What a fine mess! You had a pretty good attitude for such a major issue! You sure had some very good service!
